“Hands down the best breakfast sandwich in Chicago. Homemade bagels with homemade sausage, made to order eggs. Or you can have it on their fresh croissants which are also some of the best in the city. The dedication to quality is very apparent here. Also their hot chocolate and matcha cannot get any better. This is a must try for any Chicago foodie.“

“My friends & I visited Chicago alllll the way from Nebraska for the My Chemical Romance concert August 2025. The next morning we came to Tilly Bagel Shop for breakfast & to be honest I think about the bagel sandwich I ate here at least once a week! Anytime I hear of a friend coming to Chicago I tell them they absolutely have to come here! I wish there was a way you could ship bagels because I’d be placing an order weekly!“

“Bagel Miller is a go-to spot in Lincoln Square. The branding and atmosphere are fun and creative, the staff is welcoming, and the bagels, coffee, matcha, and chai are delicious. They have a gluten free bagel option too (although it is not homemade like their bagels made with gluten). The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey but still worth it for the taste.“

“I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out! Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out! My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

“It’s not the best bagel. But everyone that works there is always friendly and gets my order right and gets it ready quickly. They have a great selection of drinks and some fun bagels. It’s not a bad place to sit and eat your bagel. Also be ware they charge for everything that tomato was 50¢!“

I really love the breakfast bagels, the mother jones, hamlet, treehugger, and yosh kawano sandwiches, the do-rite doughnuts, and the chocolate chip cookies and the service is very warm, friendly, helpful, and accomodating. “If you're looking for an inclusive, bada$$, local place to spend money & enjoy delicious coffee and baked goods - RUN to Loaves and Witches! Staff are always so kind and attentive, the atmosphere is witchy and comforting. They have tarot reading events. The cinnamon roll is delicious w/ a generous frosting top and edible gold flakes And their chocolate chip cookie? Delectable! Ooie and gooie with salt crystals on top. & Don't even get me started on their rosemary bagel. I've spent years trying to find a coffee shop in Chicago thats welcoming, LGBTQ+ friendly and has quality goods. This place is amazing and an absolute Chicago gem! 🖤🖤🖤“

“This place is killer. Just popped in and got the first breakfast bagel sandwich on the menu. Sun City with bacon, egg & cheese plus hot honey on an everything bagel. Bagel was awesome. I'd say it's a cross between bro bagel & gallery cafe. Has its own vibe and it's pretty great. Definitely going back to try other bagels! As soon as I lose 5 lbs. Cheers! Place was busy with the morning crowd but the line moved. Grabbed a seat by the window for a few minutes before heading out. Straightforward and solid start to the day.“
