“This cafe is amazing! It’s clear they have worked hard to create a cohesive atmosphere and strong image for the cafe. This makes the atmosphere very warm and inviting. I love all the small details such as the cafe name stamped onto the food boxes and cups. The simple branding is straightforward and very pleasing. The menu has a good variety of items while still providing you the confidence that whatever you order will be made with care and taste phenomenal. I ordered the ginger peach tea with honey and it was divine, not to mention the prices are great. I love that the syrups are also homemade! They have a few food options but the one that stands out to me is the bacon, egg, and cheese on the bagel. I will absolutely be back to try more on the menu!“

“Bagel Miller is a go-to spot in Lincoln Square. The branding and atmosphere are fun and creative, the staff is welcoming, and the bagels, coffee, matcha, and chai are delicious. They have a gluten free bagel option too (although it is not homemade like their bagels made with gluten). The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey but still worth it for the taste.“

“My friends & I visited Chicago alllll the way from Nebraska for the My Chemical Romance concert August 2025. The next morning we came to Tilly Bagel Shop for breakfast & to be honest I think about the bagel sandwich I ate here at least once a week! Anytime I hear of a friend coming to Chicago I tell them they absolutely have to come here! I wish there was a way you could ship bagels because I’d be placing an order weekly!“

“I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out! Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out! My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

“Being from NY these bagels are an amazing find. Cream cheeses are delish and the staff is so friendly. Go whenever I visit my daughter. Trying the frozen take home and bake myself bagels and can’t wait!!!“

“L&W has been a GIFT to the neighborhood! We worked with their team to have a small cake made for our daughter's first birthday and it was not only delicious, but they were very intentional with the questions they asked for the baking process. The staff is friendly, inclusive and passionate. Not to mention, their coffee and food is so, so tasty. One of the best everything bagels I've had in a minute and who doesn't love a Skully boi. SUCH a vibe.“

“My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Zeitlin’s Delicatessen. We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed the challah French toast and the grilled cheese sandwich, both of which were outstanding.

What truly made the visit special, though, was the hospitality. Hal took the time to sit with us, chat, and make us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find an owner who is so invested in creating a warm, personal experience for every guest. “It’s not the best bagel. But everyone that works there is always friendly and gets my order right and gets it ready quickly. They have a great selection of drinks and some fun bagels. It’s not a bad place to sit and eat your bagel. Also be ware they charge for everything that tomato was 50¢!“

I really love the breakfast bagels, the mother jones, hamlet, treehugger, and yosh kawano sandwiches, the do-rite doughnuts, and the chocolate chip cookies and the service is very warm, friendly, helpful, and accomodating. “Stopped by Brew Brew and enjoyed the food more than the coffee. The everything bagel with chipotle fig cream cheese was delicious and a unique combination that worked really well.

I also ordered the Aztec mocha. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t a standout for me. The drink had a very milk-forward flavor, a somewhat grainy texture, and not much espresso flavor coming through. Still drinkable, just not something I’d order again.

Overall, the bagel alone made the visit worthwhile, and I’d be interested in trying other menu items in the future.“

“Pretty damn good bagel. Crunchy chewy crust and interior with some give and moist.

Sandwich was a bit too fully loaded for my liking my but good ingredients.
