“Amazing breakfast spot that was a random find while in the area. Great service and really cute atmosphere. Kids meals are free with adult purchase & the portions of my son’s teddy bear pancakes were huge! Actually portions of everything is huge. The churro French toast was incredibly delicious and included as a side to my omelette…small upcharge well worth it!! If ever in the area again it will be a must to to revisit!“

“I can’t imagine a better name for a restaurant that serves yummy burgers. “Burger” is the best name for this establishment. Like an upscale Red Robin, but with way more YUMMMM. So damn good. I went splitsies with my chum. Good move. They cut the burger in half. One half was a little bigger, but that’s okay.“

“On the evening of July 5 my wife and I tried Avaspi on Belmont Avenue in Lakeview for the first time. It will not be the last! I love lamb and am quite particular as to how is it prepared. The “lamb delight” menu item was the best lamb I have ever had in a restaurant: tender, succulent, and prepared to perfection. The side salad accompanying it was not your ordinary side salad! My wife and I both enjoyed the Mixed Meze appetizer plate. Each of the five items was quite good but the muhammara was to die for. We ended our meal with tea, baklava and kubralice. The décor and ambience were refreshing and relaxing, and the service was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable. Please give it a try. We do not think you will be disappointed.“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“This place was so cute and the food was amazing! We got the chicken satay, Thai fried chicken, crispy basil pork belly and crab fried rice. My favorite was the crispy basil pork belly! It was incredible and flavorful.

“Good salads and smoothies, and now they have avocado toast. Tons of variety, order one of their salad concoctions or create your own. It is in my office building so it's convenient, the employees have been friendly (I usually go at less busy times). And they have an app you can use to pay and then get a credit when you spend a certain amount. This is a nice option to have for lunch or dinner.“

Before even walking into the restaurant, I was looking at the menu outside when the owner noticed me and started a conversation. He was so friendly and welcoming that he easily convinced me to come in!

I ordered the bread board, and it was delicious! With different kinds of bread and spreads, it was honestly enough to be a full meal for me.

The owner Kirtan was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. He kept checking on us to make sure everything was good, which made me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of.

I’m so glad I stopped by, and I can’t wait to come back when I have more time to try other things from the menu. Definitely a place worth checking out!“

“Carbon has been my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago for quite a few years. I don't live anywhere close to either location, but I gladly make the trek any time I get the Carbon crave. There hasn't been a single thing on the menu that I didn't like. Their steak is marinated/grilled to perfection and even their sides like their elote is fantastic. Their roasted red pepper sauce is one of the many things I HAVE to get when I visit. I'd buy it by the gallon if they'd let me!“

“This is like an Asian Chipotle where you can make your own rice bowl. It's a gluten free restaurant for those with allergies or medical needs. The food is delicious and the staff were so friendly. “After a game at Wrigley, we decided to take a short walk for dinner and landed at Giordano’s, where they lived up to their longstanding reputation. Our server, Taylor, was the best ever.“

“Cool cafe with a bunch of eclectic nicknacks and wall art. I got the goat cheese crostini which comes with a side of roasted tomato relish. It was good but it didn’t blow my socks off. It almost seemed like it was missing just one extra ingredient or garnish to take it to the next level.

I also got the chicken club and it was good. The star of the sandwich was definitely the bread. You can tell this place knows what they’re doing when it comes to making bread.“

“I had never had Just Salad until this past month where I tried it the first time! I have been an almost daily reoccurring customer since. Just Salad provides fresh and clean ingredients. Never any problems there. This Just Salad location specifically has outstanding customer service. More specifically, Yari and Rosie both handle every customer with extensive care. I recently messed up and doubled my order, and while this was my mistake, they both handled the problem with a ton of care amongst a crowded and busy day. I will 100% be back to this location. Good stuff!“

“I love the combination of healthy, quick, and relatively inexpensive that Pockets offers. Everything is whole wheat (pockets, pizzas, calzones) and baked in-house so always super fresh. Combine that with the numerous healthy ingredients and you have a winning formula for busy professionals looking for a nutritious option on the go. Don’t ever change Pockets!!“

“Where do I even begin? The pita? Perfect texture and taste. The cherry tomatoes? Obviously fresh, juicy, and sourced from a great farm. The romain? Plentiful and CRISP. The Dill and Taziki sauce? Also VERY fresh, has a citrus kick somewhere, and seems to be made fresh as well. Because it doesn't taste like a store bought sauce filled with preservatives. The hummus? That might actually be where the citrus is from. However, the hummus is not overly salty! You can actually taste the Chickpeas and they use good ingredients as well as olive oil for the hummus too! The chicken? Is in NO way shape or form dry and it's actually seasoned! It's juicy and normal is it overcooked. The olives? Brothers and sisters I HATE olives by themselves, rarely on certain foods. But these olives are not overpowering and stealing the flavor profile, it just adds more depth to the flavor bomb of the Greek chicken Pita! The feta? What could be bettah? Seriously though if you can see this picture you should've seen that they don't skip on the feta either. Again the flavor is ALL the way there but not overpowering. While the texture is almost creamy. Probably with assistance from the sauce but still, it's not overly dry! 10/10 Would recommend & I will be back! Now the facility was spotless, the cleanest "fast food" I've ever seen. The staff? Phenomenonal, personable, kind, attentive to details, and downright superstars that make that place run like clockwork! Wooooo wo weeeee wo!!! If you haven't been here then you've got to go!! Moderate prices, exceptional ingredients, lovely staff, and clean facilities(where the staff actually care like the NW Expressway location in OKC). I'm out, ty for listening to my Ted talk! 🫡“
