“My daughter brought me here on our short weekend visit to Chicago. I was so impressed with the multi-cultural menu. I tried Arancini for the first time!! I was so excited 😊. The owner/chef was there and he was so wonderful!! Great service and extended to us samples of the yummy 😋 curry sauce and gave us the delicious corn salad to try. I had to have one more Arancini to try so I went with the African one that was perfect for me. Spiced nicely and flavorful. The “lamb delight” menu item was the best lamb I have ever had in a restaurant: tender, succulent, and prepared to perfection. The side salad accompanying it was not your ordinary side salad! My wife and I both enjoyed the Mixed Meze appetizer plate. Each of the five items was quite good but the muhammara was to die for. We ended our meal with tea, baklava and kubralice. The décor and ambience were refreshing and relaxing, and the service was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable. Please give it a try. We do not think you will be disappointed.“

“Good salads and smoothies, and now they have avocado toast. Tons of variety, order one of their salad concoctions or create your own. It is in my office building so it's convenient, the employees have been friendly (I usually go at less busy times). And they have an app you can use to pay and then get a credit when you spend a certain amount. This is a nice option to have for lunch or dinner.“

The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

Came to BROWN bag seafood for a quick bite before checking into my hotel. Inquired with the host about food recommendations. She recommended the lobster roll or the fish and chips. Giving such a great description of the lobster roll I went with it. I was not disappointed. The tater tots were cooked to perfection and the lobster roll was delicious. Definitely try some of the boss sauce as well! Even left with some Swedish fish!
