“My husband and I wanted to try a few of their sandwiches. They have a limited time sandwich called, street corn chicken and we also got to try another called smokestack. Both sandwiches were made great but we definitely like the street corn better. I did a pick up and as soon as I walked in I was greeted right away. The employee in the front noticed I needed help locating the pick up shelf. He helped me find it and another employee handed it off to me. It was an overall great experience!“

“Sharing a quick story of great service. I ordered delivery for the first time and originally they had brought the wrong type of soup. I called and within a few minutes they came back and delivered the correct order. Naga I believe was the name of the delivery driver. They were very quick and prompt and made the correction right away. Thank you for the great service this evening!“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“Samarkand Café is a charming, lantern-lit slice of Central Asia that easily earns a very strong four stars. The plov is deeply satisfying—fragrant rice, meltingly tender lamb, and those sweet raisins that make every forkful addictive—while the grilled kebabs deliver proper charcoal punch and the hand-pulled laghman noodles have exactly the right springy bite. Manti are plump and comforting, the tea ritual is lovely, and the warmly hospitable service makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than a customer. It’s only held back from a full five by occasional inconsistency (one visit the meat was perfection, another slightly dry) and a dessert selection that feels a touch limited. Still, for authentic Uzbek soul food in an atmosphere that glows with genuine Central Asian spirit, Samarkand remains an absolute delight well worth repeat visits.“

“I almost never write reviews but this is truly a gem. My wife and I are huge fans of Central Asian foods and we've been to quite a few. Before coming here we read a review saying that this was the best Central Asian restaurant in the Chicago area. And we can confirm that that is 100% correct. We're so glad that we found this new Kyrgyz restaurant just 20 minutes away from us.
We visited on a Tuesday night but man was it packed. Probably because it was Ramadan. Staff was friendly. And every single dish was so authentic and perfectly eexecuted. We left with very full and satisfied stomachs.
Just for reference, these were the dishes we ordered: Beef skewers, boorsok, mampar soup, lentil soup, lagman, and eggplant salad. All were great as mentioned.“

“Tried Pizza Matta for the first time tonight. Excellent cheese blend, a satisfying butter crust (not overly buttery like Lou’s!) and a delightful crunch. “I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“

“This location of Olive Garden turned out to be a really great experience 🍝✨ Everything felt organized and well-managed, which made the whole visit smooth and enjoyable from the start. We were seated almost immediately with barely any wait ⏱️😊, which is always a big plus!
The service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal 👏🙂 — we felt well taken care of without being overwhelmed. Of course, the salad and breadsticks were just as amazing as always 🥗🥖, fresh and super tasty. Our pasta dishes came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor 🔥🍝.
We specifically came for the unlimited pasta bowl deal, and it did not disappoint 😍 We tried a few different combinations, but honestly, the classic Alfredo and the meat sauce were the clear winners 🏆👌 — simple but so good!
For the price, the portion sizes and quality are seriously hard to beat 💸👍. You definitely get great value for your money here. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back again soon 😄✨“

“I am a very huge fan of smaller scale restaurants that can be found hiding in the city. Family-owned businesses are typically the ones that have the best food because they do not necessarily look into mainstreaming menus and recipes. with smaller restaurants, you can typically find amazing price opportunities as well as some unique food that has not been released to the broad market. It almost makes locations like this become a treasure if you come across them. Huge shout-out for Lola's. Amazing dogs, burgers, shakes! give them a try when you get the chance. For me, it was worth every penny!“

“The four of us had a great time at this local gem. We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! Everything was delicious, and I have to say that their 3/5 spice level is a pretty solid 3/5. You could definitely taste the spiciness, but it wasn’t the main star of the show. If you like your food spicy, I’d say even go higher.“

“Slice Factory never disappoints! The pizza is always super fresh and loaded with flavor. You can tell they care about quality. The staff is awesome too, super friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better.
But let me tell you… the wings are next-level. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. easily some of the best I’ve had. And if you’ve never tried their Nutella bites, you’re missing out big time. They’re warm, delicious, and honestly heavenly.
