Great Escape Restaurant Reviews
The food here was excellent, especially the ribs. They were incredibly tender and practically melted right off the bone, making them the highlight of the meal. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right.
The atmosphere seems to cater more toward an older crowd, but it's still warm, comfortable, and welcoming for families of all ages. If you're looking for a relaxed place with delicious food and a friendly environment, this is definitely worth a visit.

Visiting from Toronto and was looking for a nice restaurant near the airport hotels for lunch and wow, the Great Escape did not disappoint. My husband had the bass dinner and I had the chicken tangerine salad and both were delicious with huge portions. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere is great, including the bar that was built in 1889. Really nice spot that I highly recommend.
The pot pie was insane! Loaded with tender chicken breat meat..flaky buttery crust..
Highly extremely recommend this culinary masterpiece..

The Great Escape Restaurant offers a charming atmosphere, complete with an antique bar and a spacious interior. The extensive menu features a range of dishes, including the popular chicken pot pie, Dijon bass, half duck, broasted half chicken, and chicken parmesan. The restaurant serves fresh vegetables, well-seasoned rice, and homemade sauces. Desserts are also a highlight, with options like salted caramel brownies, spumoni, and chocolate molten lava cakes. The service is generally patient and courteous, with attentive waitstaff. Customers have praised the wonderful, amazing service, great atmosphere, and delicious dishes such as the navy bean soup, spinach, walnut and cranberry salad with grilled chicken, and the Mustard herb crusted bass. The fish fry on Fridays is also a favorite, with lightly breaded and moist fish. While the restaurant may have some occasional lapses in service, its overall quality and value make it a great choice for a casual to business casual dining experience.
