“Visiting from Toronto and was looking for a nice restaurant near the airport hotels for lunch and wow, the Great Escape did not disappoint. My husband had the bass dinner and I had the chicken tangerine salad and both were delicious with huge portions. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere is great, including the bar that was built in 1889. Really nice spot that I highly recommend.“

“First the food was actually really great. The Korean ribeye was what I’ve been missing being a California native that’s used to eating Polynesian and Asian food. Pizza, Spinach dip, and the Martinis was not the best but good fruit mixes. Despite a few mix ups my sisters and I enjoyed the place. BIG ovation to the manager on duty Monday evening that listened and addressed the issue promptly. The staff are very professional and I’m looking forward to another visit soon. Great job guys!!!“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. “Amerikas in Oak Park was fantastic. I had the quesabirria plate and a mojito, and both were excellent. The quesabirria was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, with tender meat and a great balance of seasoning. The plate felt generous and well put together, and every bite had that deep, comforting flavor you hope for.

The mojito was a perfect pairing. It was refreshing, bright, and made the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like a great Oak Park lunch spot.

“This is a gem that everyone should know about, but I'm thrilled there isn't a 30+ minute wait every time I go.
As someone who loves coffee, I still don't understand how their coffee tastes so good. Their plain, black coffee and Americanos taste out of this world. Some of the best coffee if not the best I've ever had. The food is always fresh, tastes/seems made to order, and again the coffee is amazing. A friend who doesn't drink caffeine loves their decaf, and as someone who doesn't drink decaf, even I like their decaf.“

“Don’t order the short rib mini sandwiches! They were 90 percent fat. When I informed the waitress she indicated that there is always fat on those sandwiches. My sandwich was mostly grizzle and fat. My friend had the same thing but hers at least had some meat.“

“My flight got canceled so it was the end of a long day when I finally made it to the Hilton Garden Inn, but the service at the hotel was great and the Cobb salad at the restaurant tasted like I had just picked everything fresh from the garden. Definitely stay here again!“

The bartender Richard was a bit overwhelmed, after talking to him we found out it was his first night! I have to say he did a great job, very attentive, professional, and held his own. “My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.“

“This restaurant has been around forever. Never tried it. My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary dinner hear this year. I wasnt really feeling it, cause it's old and a steakhouse. I'm glad I went. My crab cakes were all crab no fillers with good flavor and my husband really enjoyed his New York strip & mac cheese.
Skip the Deviled eggs... not missing anything. Trust me🫣

“This is the best place to eat in Chicago O’Hare T5. Their bowls and wraps are all healthy, full of protein and good ingredients, and taste delicious. Pricing is also a plus as the average price is around $13 or less which is less than a quarter pounder meal at Mc Donald’s. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly and the whole interaction was a pleasure.“

The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! Everyone loved the event and the food and we already want to book again!“

The bartender was welcoming, attentive, and even pointed out where the specials were on the menu so I wouldn't miss them, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking to catch a game, with TVs throughout the restaurant. I was also impressed by how inclusive their menu is. In addition to a dedicated vegan menu, they offer a non-alcoholic drink menu with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options, making it easy for people with different dietary preferences to find something they'll enjoy.
