“Francesco's Hole in the Wall is one of those restaurants that reminds you what dining out used to feel like. Every dish is made with care. Nothing is over-seasoned or trying too hard. Everything is balanced. The pasta tastes fresh and homemade, cooked perfectly every time. The tomatoes taste like tomatoes, the herbs are fresh, and every dish feels light instead of weighing you down.

The atmosphere isn't fancy, and that's exactly why it works. It feels like stepping back in time. They somehow fit what feels like 60 people into a space that's about 25 by 25 feet. The tables are small, everyone's close together, and somehow it all works. There isn't a menu at your table either. You walk over to a giant handwritten board, take a picture with your phone, and order from that. It's part of the experience.

The service is what really impressed me. It feels like everyone has worked there forever. The owner is there, watching everything, and the staff runs like a well-oiled machine. Plates disappear as soon as you're finished, silverware is replaced without asking, food comes out quickly, and they somehow keep all those small tables organized without making you feel rushed or cramped.

This is a great place for a birthday, anniversary, or just a really good Italian meal. They don't take reservations, so you have to decide if you're willing to wait. After eating here, the answer is easy. Absolutely. I'd wait every time.“

“This is one of the best Mexican Cuisine Restaraunts I have ever had , very authentic. We had the quesabirrias and they were so good. Fresh food served here . Our server Gina was the best . Since we walked in she had a smile on her face , Her attitude and positiveness caught my attention. I had a wonderful fast service with Gina . I will definitely recommend this place to my friends . “My wife has been ordering her solo pizza from here for years. I never quite understood it. Then I found out that they had vegan cheese. I am now a devout Sarpinos addict. Their crust is tasty, crispy and somehow soft all at once. Their toppings are fresh and tasty. Delivery is super fast AND hot. There simply is NO better pizza in the Chicago area.“

“The food here is fantastic, except for the fries which are really thick potato slices. They used to have the best thin, crispy fries (chips) but no more. Hence the reason for only 4-stars.

The lady working was very friendly, making me feel like I was a regular despite it being my first visit to this location. The food was hot, fresh, as ordered and most importantly, delicious. The in-house baked pitas are like eating a cloud of heaven.“

The sandwich is toasted just right.It's a cool atmosphere inside with the decor.There is plenty of seating.I will continue to go here.Bicycling: There is a trail that runs along Waukegan and also Willow Road. They also have outdoor seating which is nice.“

“I’ve been meaning to leave this review for some time but a lady named Inez who works here single handed sets this location apart. She greets everyone with a smile, remembers all the regulars and their orders, and overall just exudes such a positive energy. Inez is an absolute gem and Panera is lucky to have her. I am sure she’d uplift any place she works the same way. Other than that this Panera is also cleaner than the average and has a nice patio.“
