“Great pizza, maybe the best in the area. But they really need to figure out logistics. They always seem to need several hours' lead time on preparing a pizza. If you call them at 4:30 pm, good luck getting something before 7:00. Seems like they need to expand to get more oven space. I'd eat there more often, but I'm not always thinking about dinner at 1:00 in the afternoon and most of the time I call, it's too long of a wait before anything can be ready.“
“We enjoyed dinner after a concert at the Winnetka Chapel. We enjoy sitting at the bar for quick service so we did and Raphael was our server. He was so nice and attentive. I had a delicious Blackberry and Bourbon cocktail to start while Craig had a craft beer. Lots to choose from for dinner! I wanted something light so chose the Beet and chicken salad. It had a light dressing on really fresh greens and freshly roasted beets and mandarin oranges. Craigs salad was Ahi Tuma on greens. I loved the marinade and intense freshness of his salad. Both salads had tender protein and very fresh greens. We loved the ambience and the personal attention. The staff all said good night as we left. If you want to watch soccer, the bar will accommodate.“
“Wanted to love it more. Lots of rapport between staff and patrons so it’s clearly a real local regulars place. Tables are packed in tightly. Felt like I was in the space of the couple behind us especially when I stood up.Beef bourguignon was very pretty but underseasoned. No detectable red wine taste to the sauce or meat. Beet salad was declared “fine.” We started with the spring rolls which were good and the potstickers .. good except the sauce with ketchup and sweet chili notes was a bit overpowering. All the appetizers on the menu were Asian except focaccia and soup. Desserts were enjoyed. Cocktails were good.Funny to see menu highlights in google maps include tiramisu, scallops, and hangar steak, none of which were on offer during our visit.“
“We went Easter Morning for brunch and it was quite busy. The staff were not affected by the crowd, they were happy and very pleasant. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend dining here. I know we will be back next time we are in Chicago ❤️“
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!“
“We got this via door dash last night. Wow. So healthy and delicious. I got the goddess greens and it didn’t even need an added protein. The dressing was so good. My husband got the Mediterranean mix up and loved it and son got the ode to the roasted veggie. So excited for this addition to Evanston. We also love the non plastic containers!!!“
“My family and I absolutely love this spot!! Their daily specials are top notch. And their chicken noodle soup is one of the best out there. You can tell it's homemade. We have not had something we did not like from Sunrise grill. The staff here is so wonderful. Always so nice and accommodating. We love the staff there. We always feel so welcomed.“
“When in Chicago, you can't skip on this place. The pizza was amazing. This was my first time trying Deep Dish (Chicago Style) pizza, and I'm glad I went with the best for my first time. We also had the fried mozzarella and the bruschetta. The Bruschetta is nicknamed "The Best" and after having it, I now know why. Our waitress was super nice. She was an older lady with a Boston accent but she was so funny and took really good care of us.“
“2nd time there and loving the food, experience and the staff/owner.Cute place and good vibe. First round was with the Brie, prosciutto, green apple sandwiches...mmmm mmmm good. Tonight I took wifey out for date night and got the charcuterie for 2. Awesome selection, great flavors, nice presentation. Owner stopped by a few times to check up on us. Loved the wine selection as well. Hidden gem in park ridge. Can't love it enough.“
“Loved this place!I highly recommend this restaurant. I had their main Steak File with mushrooms sauce , veggies and mashed potato, everything was delicious. The price is 100% worthy since you get good meat quality and good portion. The staff was very nice to us and very friendly.“
“I've become a lunch regular here - absolutely delicious and fresh food in generous portions with special deals that are hard to beat. Very friendly, hospitable service even in a casual space like this. $10 chicken and falafel lunch special featured in the pic!“
“This place is amazing. This was my second time here and both times were exceptional. Chill atmosphere and very clean as well. Moe and Diar were both very welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. The food was fantastic and made to order so it was extremely fresh both times. Would recommend the fries with garlic sauce (most addicting combo) and the falafel. Can’t go wrong with schaorma here either.“
“This place is absolutely beautiful. The decorations, the atmosphere, the people.I absolutely love it! I normally go to the One on eighty seventh and harlem And love it there too, same owners,SameFood, just amazing just absolutely amazing And delicious!“
“Ordered from them for some quick lunch. Prices were unbeatable, and the quality of food was incredible. Really can tell a lot about sushi just from the rice, and the rice was spot on. Would highly recommend giving them your business. They are take-out only at this time though. Thank you so much for a delicious lunch!“
“Only reason I don’t give it a 5 is because there has been a couple times where my order was supposed to be ready for take out and I had to wait 20 minutes for it. I come during my lunch hour so that’s a good half hour waisted because of the delay and then I just have 30 mins or less to shove the food basically. The workers seemed to be working pretty fast so I think it may be a short staffed issue.“
“I stayed at the Graduate in Evanston for a few days in July. I really liked the vintage style of the hotel building, and the friendly staff, but I was dismayed at how cold it was in the hotel because of the excessive air conditioning. I turned it off in our room as soon as we arrived and the temperature remained comfortable there during our whole stay. It seemed to me that the AC in the lobby, the restaurant, and the bar was actually set to a lower temperature than the heating would be in the winter. And there was a fire in the fireplace, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s outside and AC on! The Graduate Hotel management seems to be ignoring how important saving energy is right now, in light of global warming. Their blatant disregard for the environment sent a shiver down my spine in more than one way.“
“Pescatarian Italian fusion restaurant that checks every box: excellent food, ranging from well done standards, such as handmade pasta, through intricate dishes with creative flavors; thorough drink menu (enjoyed the Fuji Whiskey); ample portion sizes; pleasant atmosphere hitting the sweet spot between modern and classic, with comfortable seating; great music that was not too loud or intrusive, Spanish classical guitar playing instrumental pop covers (did they play that flamenco Final Fantasy VII Cover for our anniversary?); and well timed service. Hands down the best Kosher restaurant at which I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: Pescatarian restaurant with a plethora of delicious vegetarian options.“
“Meat pierogi are some of the best I've out outside of Poland. Potato pancakes are thicker, like they should be. And the sour soup was actually sour and not watered down for inexperienced palates (-:Kid-friendliness: Brought a stroller and breastfed during dinner no problem“
“I got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich from Eastern Pizza last night and boy! Was it Delicious. New standard. I’m a customer for life and I want another one right now!Perfect amount of meat very toasted garlic bread and right amount of toppings“
“Really enjoyed the food and service. Sadey was extremely accommodating, friendly and made for a really great experience for our family dinner. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and so kind to our kids. The deep dish is the best of all Chicago deep dish!“
“We are very particular about our pizzas and Northshore Pizza was exceptional! We ordered the stuffed pizza and wouldn't change a thing. -The crust is flavorful with a slightly crisp bottom ....perfect platform for the generous amount of cheese on top. The tangy sauce is delicious and brings the pizza to life. Even the customer service is great! These guys know what there doing! Definitely our new go-to.“
“Portillo's in Skokie is a great spot for a delicious and casual Chicago-style dining experience. They're famous for their Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs, and decadent chocolate cake. The restaurant also boasts a fun 1930s Prohibition-style theme, complete with vintage décor and gingham tablecloths. If you're looking for a taste of Chicago, Portillo's in Skokie is a definite must-try!“
“Great little corner on Ashland and Farewell. They have some tables on the sidewalk. We love the pizza, the fried calamari and salads!Remember to order your ❤️ shaped pizza on Valentine's Day!Vegetarian options: Just ask your server. They are really accommodating.“
“Absolutely love this restaurant .The food is phenomenal. The wait staff are friendly and attentive.I would consider Greenhouse Inn one of the best in all of rogerspark and Evanston. If you have not ever been there please check it out you won't regret it.“
“Absolutely amazing. I was blown away by the flavor. Like no other Thai food that I have experienced. Beyond 5 stars. I was spellbound. If you like Thai food, you need to give this place a try. It's a shame I don't live in Chicago, because I find myself daydreaming about it and wanting to fly across a quarter of the country JUST to eat here!“
“I am so grateful to have accidentally walked past this place… it is so difficult to find someone local who has actually FRESH food. Not a thing in my salad is processed… even the carrots are hand chopped and fresh as can be. Will be returning for daily lunch without a doubt!“
“Not much to any of these restaurants but the food was great the manager explained the pizza and size cause we were about to buy way to much what he suggested was perfect stopped on the trip back home and bought take and bake for family in MN first time with this type deep dish not what I was looking for wanted traditional fresh style but was pleasantly happy Even though it's a chain.“
“Really tasty. Got a pan crust sausage, onion and giardiniera. Cooked to perfection. Wife kept stealing my crust because it was so good (she got the chopped salad. It was huge and delicious). We came in with a bunch of rowdy 10yr old boys after a soccer game and pretty much took the place over. They were very patient and accommodating. The kids really enjoyed their thin crust cheese, too! We will definitely be back.“
“Put this on your list of places to check out when you need to be nourished body and soul. This whole place feels like a warm, familiar hug. The vibes are welcoming and super chill. There's a counter with a few stools, some tables and chairs, or a couch and chairs to relax on. Got a hazelnut latter, which was amazing - not bitter, not overly sweet. I devoured the kale/sweet potato/quinoa bowl and freaking loved it. My partner enjoyed a breakfast burrito, which came with a side of fruit. Great service and ambiance. Will def stop by next time I'm in the area!.“
“Wow! They have the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had. I'm a soup fanatic and have had tons of different chicken noodle soups & this hands down is exactly what you want in a CN soup! Lots of egg noodles that aren't mushy, good amount of carrots & celery. The chicken is white meat and so tasty & tender. Plus the price is awesome! Can't wait to try other soups. Also tried some lemon bars. They were good. I think it could be a little more tart! Nice and buttery.“
“It's a small restaurant with big food! You will want to go early because they don't reservations. Wine list could use an update. They were out of a particular Italian red wine on the list, and the white wines need an overhaul. Otherwise, everything was excellent.“
“Love the cosiness of the place and seem to have lots of return customers. It has a big selection of different combination of pasta and pizza, essentially any pasta can be made with any sauce. The portion was very generous. I tried the ceasar salad and it was good. The dressing is more garlicky than other places, but still good. The pasta was spinach pappardelle bolognese made with ground turkey. I also had side of sautéed spinach and meat ball.“
“Cute little Italian spot in Park Ridge I had an Italian beef with hot peppers it was delicious ? you seat there while you are smelling this pizzas being baked a bunch of old school folks that know how to make a good meal! I'll be back for sure ?“
“Just ordered take out,got it home, and opened it up. The first thing I noticed is that it is very lightly sauced. I mean very, but it packs a Whole lot of flavor. All of the ingredients where fresh. I mean, I wanted to drive back over there just to tell them how good the food was.“
“I just had lunch here today. The Detroit Style Pizza and salad delicious! All ingredients were fresh, their house made dressings were great. Nice, comfortable, clean environment.Entrance and bathroom are handicapped accessible. Staff was eager to please, and didn’t seem to mind that we talked for 2 hours. I will definitely go back, or order delivery. Try them out!“
“I just got off an 11 hour plane ride from Japan. Lucky's hit the spot. They don't skimp out on the servings and the food is delicious and freshly cooked. Just what I needed! The staff was nice and noticed they greeted their regulars by name and talked to them. The place is clean and comfortable.“
“I had not been to this Olive Garden location in years and was pleasantly surprised at how updated and modern the decor was. Seating was fast and the service was great. I had a chicken dish that was nicely prepared, along with the famous, delicious breadsticks. I tried two soups as part of my meal, and those were the only disappointment. They seemed less flavorful and less full of the good meat/vegetable ingredients than before, as if they are being stretched by adding more broth to save money. All in all, though, it was a good experience and I would go back for sure.“
“Our experience here today was a 5 star because of Dan! Giordano's needs more staff like Dan.There are many things that can make or break your experience when you go out to eat. And the most important is how you are treated, the friendly ness of the staff.Dan is very welcoming, informative, patient, pleasant and knows food. He helped with deciding our order. We were in for a pizza and so he suggested we should go with Meat lovers deep dish.Food was not disappointing. We will go again for a once more of the same experience!Kid-friendliness: Kids love Pizza and the restaurant is very spacious“
“This family-owned and run take-out restaurant never fails to impress and is our family's go-to for top notch deep dish pizza. We won't order anywhere else in the Chicagoland area for deep dish as nothing compares even remotely when it comes to flavor, quality, and very fair pricing. Thank you, Goode & Fresh, for providing consistently amazing food for our family and friends. Your business deserves more attention!“
“Grab slices at Mario’s it was delicious. Perfect mixture of cheese and crunchy crust. I highly recommend next time you want pizza to give this place a try. Met the owner couldn’t be nicer. I’ve lived in NB for a long time. Excited to have a new favorite. Please give it a try. We will be back to try their wings and broasted “
“Blue Horse Tavern, Lulu's, Taco Diablo, and Five & Dime are all connected if you were confused like I was originally. When you get seated at any dining area of these establishments, you can order from all the different restaurants menus. Very interesting concept, almost like a sit-down food court in a way, but I think the food and the atmosphere is way better than any food court I have been in. I enjoy the tacos at Taco Diablo (a little expensive, but still tasty), but my recent order of the full rack ribs was fantastic. The house sauce has a strong bourbon flavor, pretty interesting and unique. Great since I was really craving ribs and wanted to try ribs from a place I had never ordered them from before. I was pretty skeptical since this isn't a bbq place, but I was pleasantly surprised! The meat fell off the bone as we were cutting into the ribs, which was already a good sign. Theres a lot of dishes I still haven't tried, specifically from the Lulu's menu, so I'll have to come back and try those out!“
“A solid choice for burgers. BWB prides themselves on their smash burger, which comes tasty and gooey with cheese and grilled onions. They also offer a pub burger, for those who don't care for the smash style. It's good, but the smash burger is better. Their fries tend to be kinda dry and flavorless, so dressing them up with carne asada or truffle oil might be a good choice. Hot dogs are the standard Chicago dog, done right, tasty but not hard to find around here. The shakes are fine, but nothing stood out to me to make them worthy of the top billing they get here. BWB also offers bowls and chicken, haven't tried them. The venue is pretty much takeout only, although there is a table on the sidewalk nearby. Service is quick and friendly. If they had better fries, they'd be rock stars, as it is, I'm happy to come here when I'm looking for a good burger.“
“One of the best food places at this mall. The customer service was amazing, the lady was so sweet. Food was amazing i’ve been there many times and it never ever disappoints. Tacos are soo good, The bowls are delicious and the Tamales are good. Love everything about this definitely recommend!Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians like the rest of my family really enjoy“
“I highly recommend the pizzeria Sarpino’s Northbrook! Incredibly delicious! I have already tried many different types of pizza, sandwiches, calzones, pasta, salads. I always get great pleasure from the taste and fast delivery! And they also have very polite staff!“
“This place offers you the rare opportunity to taste Ghanian food. Some dishes are very spicy so be careful. I highly recommend anything with plantains. The only reason I gave it fewer stars is that they don't have prices on the menu and I kinda suspect they just pick a number based on how you look. I had an appetizer that cost the same as an entree and was definitely overpriced. But, it was all delicious!“
“Judy’s pizza is one of my favorites on the North Shore. Not only do they have quality ingredients and great food, they do so much to support our local community. We are lucky to have them in Highland Park. If you want consistent, good quality food, definitely try Judy’s.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian and even a vegan pizza option!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizzas are very good. Also have dairy-free optionsParking: Easy parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly options and even a make your own pizza“
“This is my favorite Giordano’s location. The food is the same as all the other locations (excellent!) but this location has the best service. They are prompt with their order times, they are professional and respectful, and placing an order with them is a breeze. I usually drive to pick up food from them rather than have it delivered from a closer location just for the service alone.“
“This is the best Noodles & Company I have been to because of the service! The staff is incredibly friendly and warm, especially Zach. It seems like he has regulars that he knows on a personal basis. I briefly interacted with Ron as well and he was also very nice.“
“They have the standard hotel breakfast bar with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruits, toast, pastries, and an omelet station. The staff was great. They constantly checked in to see if I needed more coffee or anything else.I went three times during my stay, and everything was consistent each time.“
“I biked from Rodgers Park just to get my favorite sandwich, the Balboa. I love this place and the owner is super friendly. Service is fast and the taste is some of the best in the city. I always pick up a bottle of their secret sauce when I am here too it goes great on everything. Try the new lentil soup ?“
