“I've been ordering from this place for over 15 years and have yet to be disappointed with the food. Only constant issue, which really isn't that big of a deal since I would take my food home to eat, but every time I ordered potato skins the sour cream is always left out. So if your ordering to take to a park or outside, not eat at home, don't forget to check for the sour cream. ?“
“It's a small restaurant with big food! You will want to go early because they don't reservations. Wine list could use an update. They were out of a particular Italian red wine on the list, and the white wines need an overhaul. Otherwise, everything was excellent.“

“Since we found Marisa's Pizza on Yelp about a year ago, it has become our go-to place for pizzas! It is located in a strip mall with abundant parking spaces, and the location is very convenient for us. Our favorite is their New York Style Thin Crust Cheese Pizza that you can create your own by adding different toppings at extra costs. We have been picking mushroom and sausage lately, which are so tasty without being too salty. I especially like the crunchy crust! There are 21 ingredients to choose from, that you can easily make so many different combinations. Ordering online is so easy and you get 5% off! For each ingredient you can specify left half, right half, or whole just by clicking on the diagrams, it cannot be easier or clearer than that! They come in 12", 14", 16", and 18" sizes. We usually ordered the 14" which is a medium, and enough for 2 to 3 people. Marisa's has a wide variety of foods on their menu. Other than pizzas, they also offer soups and salads, pastas and sandwiches, and more. I had enjoyed their tiramisu, which was creamy and delicious! They are usually very accurate with their estimated time for pickup. The normal wait time is 15-30 minutes from ordering to pick up. Yesterday I volunteered to go to pick up our pizza on my way home from somewhere. They sent me a text for the estimated time. When I arrived at their parking lot, I noticed that they had sent a second text with a re-estimated later time, pushing back by 20 minutes. I went in anyway. The man politely told me that it would be another 15 minutes. I decided to just wait. The place was big, bright, nice and clean, very toasty though. There were decorations with sports theme. Although I am not a football fan, a wall TV with the Super Bowl on was a nice touch. When I was waiting, the same staff kindly offered me something to drink, and then he offered me condiments such as red peppers or extra cheese to take home, and I politely thanked him for his thoughtfulness but declined the offers. I appreciated his hospitality. It was Super Bowl night and they were so busy, I can fully understand. Our pizza was ready in 15 minutes, the wait was pleasant. We enjoyed the tasty piping hot pizza while watching the halftime show that I wanted to watch, I was very content and happy! We will continue going to Marisa's Pizza for sure!“

“Generous portion sizes for 'pizza by the slice.' Surprisingly, the meat lovers was not my favorite - the bacon parts are too much. Sausage bits are too tiny to be crispy; It's just hard. I don't recommend the plain cheese. The small pizza thin crust was perfect! I also liked the mozzarella sticks and french fries. They aren't seasoned but there's definitely a soft coating.“
“Marcellos is a great restaurant for so many reasons. First off, the food is great. I've not had anything that wasn't good.Second, they have a great space for parties and events. They have 2 smaller rooms that really aren't small at all. But they can take down the wall to make it into a much larger room. They can host events much larger than you'd imagine.Great service, generous drinks, and the owner is a kind, generous, and charitable man who gives back to the community.Go here.“

“Interesting food. I wanted a vegetarian risotto choice. The desert, called a honey cake had no resemblance to our definition but was good. I think an explanation of plat bying would have helped for dishes with 3 or 4 items. Prices were reasonable.Vegetarian options: I feel a few dishes could be easily made vegetarian and reflect a slightly lower price.“
“This place is amazing. I live in the Chicago land area, and I love my deep dish pizza. Here, you can put SO many different toppings on, and you can also mix and match them. It also has thin crust. It has a hard crust, so it is sort of like deep dish. Their salad is the best. The service is good and the workers are nice to you. The pizzas can be a little bit pricey, but that's the only downside.“
“(Northbrook Location) Extremely easy to place my order. The employee (Tony) I believe.. Who had taken my order 1/17/2024, was polite and detailed throughout the order process.. And when I arrived he continued to be Very Professional, Helpful & Welcoming to a new customer, “which he did not know I was”. This was our second time ordering, and were completely satisfied and everything came as ordered.. First time was a younger woman who took the order and she was friendly and easy to deal with as well.. I don’t recall her name (Sorry) or date I ordered. But it was about a week prior to my second order. Also shout out to the cooks and other employees who made this meal happen. A++ All Around.. so we thank you all.
