“I am writing this review from a personal and professional standpoint, as I have hosted a few work events at 28-Mile over the past year, and recently had my son's Bar Mitzvah party there. As a former event planner, and someone who plans numerous events for my job, I can honestly say that I have never encountered a more professional and accommodating staff. From the ownership, to the management, to the bar & waitstaff, and I have to mention the woman who tirelessly maintains the cleanliness of the venue, each and every one of them go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly for your event. Both of the recent events I hosted had elaborate set-ups, and the entire staff (even the owner!) helped make sure the space looked the best it possibly could.From my initial meetings with Mike the manager, to the walk thru/layout details of the space, and menu discussions, Mike gave me his undivided attention and great suggestions as to what would work best. He promptly answered any questions I had, and leading up to my events he could not have been more responsive, flexible and accommodating. This is not a venue that just wants your money, they truly care about their customers and strive to make sure that from start to finish everything goes well. From the laborious set-up to breakdown for both of my events they could not have been more helpful!We also got so many compliments on the food from our guests, their pizza is definitely some of the best on the North Shore! The bar staff is amazing and so efficient. Not only do they make awesome cocktails (their butterscotch bourbon was a crowd favorite), you also feel their genuine commitment to making sure that the event is a success. No matter what my request was of the management, or the bar or waitstaff, they made it happen with a smile on their faces. If a scenario is possible, they will do whatever they can to make your vision come to life.If you are considering having an event at 28-Mile do not hesitate, I promise you will not be disappointed. I am already thinking about other events I can plan there, especially when the weather gets warm so I can utilize their roof & patio. I could not possibly be more grateful to everyone at 28-Mile for helping to make my son's Bar Mitzvah party a night we will never forget!!!“
“Once you have had a slice at SLYCE, all other pizzas seem not good enough. Highly recommend adding the sausage, Caribbean chili, roasted garlic, chili oil (if you can handle some spice) as toppings if you are going for a custom pizza!Would recommend eating at the restaurants vs take out for the ambience and while the crust is warm.“
“My boyfriend and I were coming home from Florida and we were so hungry! My boyfriend pulled into Bucky's, you can't miss it, there is a huge sign! The gas station is huge, it reminds me of a Walmart! There are more than enough gas pumps. There are delis, clothing and much more! You will not be disappointed!“
“Stopped here on the way home and it was very good. I would recommend it to anyone who is passing through. We went on a Friday evening around 5:30cpm and it wasn't very busy. The food took a little longer to come out but overall I would recommend it.“
“Fantastic, old school spot for a fabulous meal. I've been going here since I was a kid and nothing has changed. They have a warm and comfy dining room on one side with tables and big deep booths, and on the other side is a lively 360° oval bar with booths and tables around the perimeter, great bartenders, and you can get full meal service at the bar with a full place setting. Prices are reasonable, the food is all good / consistent, they make a wonderful hamburger on dark rye, ribs are amazing, and it's kid friendly!“

The salad and asparagus were so refreshing and brought the perfect balance to our meal. I can’t wait to come back!! “We came by to Moe's after hearing about an advertisement for a special brunch event, and we were floored by the wonderful people running this place! They were very friendly and inviting, and held a simple but classic brunch with mimosas and the atmosphere was kind and caring! We haven't been to it in the evening as a bar, but this brunch special is something they'd like to run monthly and we'll worth it!“

Simple but excellent adaptations of classic favourites from Indian, Korean, American, Mexican, Italian cuisines (and then some!)We tried the vada pav (Indian burger with stuffed fried potato patty, spices etc) tacos samosa and chicken tikka were both delicious! Momos (potstickers), thin crust pizza, and samosa chaat (smashed samosas with chickpeas, chutneys, onions etc)Pleasantly surprised every dish done just perfectly with its own twist on the original. And lovely presentation.They have an ice cream station (not to be missed!)The place is casual, perky and fun… Absolutely try this place out.“
“Our Veal Marsala was great. We both had the same thing. The portions were so large that we had a lot to take home, and we have enough for another dinner. We were celebrating my wife's Birthday and they provided a delicious Italian Lemon cake, ice cream with chocolate sauce. Most of all our server, Maria, was excellent. Her Birthday is today, the day after my wife's birthday. We will be back very soon!“
