I was able to get the food to my daughter and her team back in Wilmette by 4:45. They saved my butt big time. “Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “I've driven by the place for a year and kept thinking I should drop in. Finally stopped for a slice last month, and went back to try their smash burger just recently.

Love the place. They have excellent food and a kicky little interior, but I loved chatting with the owner as he made my food. One of the owners, at least. Anyway, curious to try their other offerings, and happy to meet a local small business owner and find them to be just good people. To me, that has more impact than the menu. But the menu is worth the trip, all the same!

I know the owner reads these reviews, so I say thank you for your excellent efforts. It's not a small thing to feed strangers food made with care and love, and it matters to some of us when we see it. Nothing but the best to you, my friend.“

“Just tried Pizzawala's and I'm already planning my trip back tomorrow, that's how good it was.

First off, the atmosphere? Super clean, tidy, and wide open with plenty of tables. It felt welcoming and spacious, not cramped at all.

Now the pizza top notch quality. You can tell they make it differently (literally their motto, and it shows). It doesn't taste like your typical Indian style pizza, it's got its own thing going on, and it works beautifully.

Here's the game changer, I sprinkled lime on it for the first time, and wow, that bright, tangy kick took it to another level. I ate the whole pizza by myself.

If you haven't been yet, go. And if you have, try it with lime. No Kidding.

UPDATE: I walked in, and the place was spotless clean, open, tons of seating, almost like they knew I was coming and wanted to impress me. (It worked.)

“The kimchi fried rice is absolutely incredible, easily the star of the menu and packed with flavor. If you enjoy spicy food, it's a must try! The veggie dumplings were also delicious, and the wings were very good, especially depending on the flavor you choose.

A couple things to keep in mind: the parking lot can be a bit challenging, and there is very limited seating inside, with only a couple of tables available, so it's primarily a takeout spot. That said, the food more than makes up for it. The kimchi fried rice alone is worth the visit, and I highly recommend giving it a try!“

I stopped in at odd time, 3:30 pm. So they weren't super fresh but still good and great crusty, flavorfull coating. Biscuit and side of slaw was also good. Price was reasonable. $11 for 4 wings, 1 side, biscuit, drink and tax. Interior was clean including windows, counters, floor chairs and tables. I think they need their drains cleaned out though based on slight smell. I'd eat there again.“

Walking into the lobby, the environment felt unorganized and not all that put together, and the employees upfront seemed completely lost as if they didn't really know what they were doing. There was even a frustrating hiccup during checkout that made the experience a bit bumpy. However, all of that was easily forgotten the moment you take a bite, because the pizza itself was amazing, fresh, and deeply delicious. While the customer service and atmosphere definitely need some work, the pizza completely stood for itself and makes the chaotic visit entirely worth it.“
