Was super slammed and was down to one driver on a busy Saturday night but Brian was so so helpful and just clearly doing a great job managing everything despite what I’m sure was a crazy night. “Went here with my Auntie, Fizi and Nick was very friendly with us, they were guiding us throughout the way and even pointed out what we can do to get a discount. We presented a coupon but we forgot to check the date, it was invalid to use already. But then Fizi helped us with the app and we got the $5 discount (not much but it’s something) Then Nick was friendly and attentive with our food as well. Great staff, good food, good price. “I've driven by the place for a year and kept thinking I should drop in. Finally stopped for a slice last month, and went back to try their smash burger just recently.

Love the place. They have excellent food and a kicky little interior, but I loved chatting with the owner as he made my food. One of the owners, at least. Anyway, curious to try their other offerings, and happy to meet a local small business owner and find them to be just good people. To me, that has more impact than the menu. But the menu is worth the trip, all the same!

I know the owner reads these reviews, so I say thank you for your excellent efforts. It's not a small thing to feed strangers food made with care and love, and it matters to some of us when we see it. Nothing but the best to you, my friend.“

“I was wanting to try Korean style fried chicken. I was not disappointed. The chicken is crispy, moist and just the right amount of spice. The menu looks so good, I had difficulty deciding what to get. I will definitely come back.“

“Saw this place plenty of times on social media and finally gave it a try today. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink; also got a 6 piece buffalo wings. Ended up getting 2 of their homemade ranches, which have this great dill flavor. Everything was absolutely delicious especially because it’s all cooked in beef tallow. The cheesesteak had a generous portion of steak and cheese on it, all served on this fresh seeded bread that had a delicious garlic bread taste. The buffalo wings were great too. Everything was cooked fresh but the star was that dill ranch. I put it on everything and it just amplified the flavors. Definitely going to be visiting again, highly recommended.“

“Just tried Pizzawala's and I'm already planning my trip back tomorrow, that's how good it was.

First off, the atmosphere? Super clean, tidy, and wide open with plenty of tables. It felt welcoming and spacious, not cramped at all.

Now the pizza top notch quality. You can tell they make it differently (literally their motto, and it shows). It doesn't taste like your typical Indian style pizza, it's got its own thing going on, and it works beautifully.

Here's the game changer, I sprinkled lime on it for the first time, and wow, that bright, tangy kick took it to another level. I ate the whole pizza by myself.

If you haven't been yet, go. And if you have, try it with lime. No Kidding.

UPDATE: I walked in, and the place was spotless clean, open, tons of seating, almost like they knew I was coming and wanted to impress me. (It worked.)

This time, I tried a different pizza because I'm a grown adult who makes bold decisions and wow. Their 'made differently' motto isn't just a tagline, it's a promise. It doesn't scream 'Indian pizza' it does its own thing, and it's beautiful.

“This is an amazing decades long family owned destination for the VERY BEST hot wings! The seating is comfortable inside and outside!
The wings are superb, meaty, fresh, cooked to perfection and sauced how wings are supposed to be. Great sauce choices and sides as well as other meal items.

I found this little gem in the late 80's and frequented for years.
I had moved away and hadn't been back in over 25 years.
It is like I never left, just as I remember.

“My previous review was accidentally deleted by me, but let me just say that this is by far the best bar around the Chicagoland area. Firstly, let me start by raving about Colleen, the GOAT of bartenders! She is an absolute sweetheart! From the first day she made me feel at home! If you are new, she goes up to you, introduces herself and hands you a napkin. She has the most awesome and proper etiquette for the hospitality industry. Colleen is an absolute godsend! I do not know a single person who badmouths her. She also makes the best margaritas and rums/cokes! She remembers your name as wel and starts calling you by your name on the second day. The other bartenders are amazing as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I go in, Lisa remembers my drink and food order. She is also a gem as well! As far as the food goes, the chicken bacon ranch wrap is one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cheddar Cheese burger is amazing as well. Seriously this place is a great find. “Lunch at CM Chicken was excellent. We ordered the rose tteokbokki and the honey garlic whole chicken, and the combination worked incredibly well.
The rose tteokbokki had a creamy sauce with a gentle kick, and the rice cakes had a satisfying chewy texture. It was rich without being overwhelming and made a great side to the chicken.
The honey garlic chicken was the highlight. The coating had a great crunch, while the meat inside stayed juicy. The sauce brought a sweet garlic flavor that covered the chicken well without making it soggy.
The portions were generous, everything came out fresh, and the meal was very satisfying. I would absolutely come back and order this combination again.“

“The kimchi fried rice is absolutely incredible, easily the star of the menu and packed with flavor. If you enjoy spicy food, it's a must try! The veggie dumplings were also delicious, and the wings were very good, especially depending on the flavor you choose.

A couple things to keep in mind: the parking lot can be a bit challenging, and there is very limited seating inside, with only a couple of tables available, so it's primarily a takeout spot. That said, the food more than makes up for it. The kimchi fried rice alone is worth the visit, and I highly recommend giving it a try!“

“Best BB.Q franchise for me. Gives the biggest peices, excellent saucing, and service.

For whatever reason many BB.Q Chicken locations only allow you to select only one flavor for a medium order. So if you want two different flavors you have to pay the higher charge to get two small sizes In different flavors. This location allows me to order two separate flavors for a medium order which saves me a headache, and a little money. I am willing to drive 5 minutes further to go to this location than the other 3 or so BB.Q locations that are slightly closer as a result. Keep up the good work guys!“

“I recently stopped in to Half & Half Lake Bluff, on a busy summer Friday night and so should you.

I have enjoyed this establishment several times, eat in and carry out, but have never done a review.

The outside patio area was already busy so I decided to just stay inside at the cozy wood bar.
The bartender was attentive and make a great old fashion and suggested a nice pilsner brew.

Ordered the spinach dip appetizer w/ the pita which was top shelf and a good starter. Moved on a bit later to enjoy their pizza (Johns pizza, sausage, pepperoni, black olives, mozzerella on that Romantate Signature Crest)

Enjoyed the food, drinks and people watching here.

“I lived overseas for a number of years and came back after Covid only to find my go-to pizza spots had all closed. I spent the next three years chasing that real Chicago stuffed-crust fix and kept coming up disappointed.

Then, on my birthday today, I finally found the place that fills the void.

The sauce is robust, the cheese is generous, and the crust is exactly what you want from a quality Chicago stuffed crust pizza. Hands down, it’s the best stuffed crust I’ve had in Illinois in over 10 years, and the price is better than Lou Malnati’s (bland) and Giordano’s (#2 stuffed crust in il IMO, but far away from my location).

Great value for the money, and the people here are genuinely nice. First visit, and now loyal customer now.“

“I have no clue why this has poor ratings, I had bone in wings delivered and they were still good when they arrived. The fries were a little soggy from the steam, but that is to be expected with delivery and they came right back to life in my oven while I ate the wings.
I tried four of the sauces:
Nashville hot: did not work extremely well on the bone-in wings, but I have a feeling it would be good on boneless
Buffalo: was good, if it wasn't I would have given 3 stars
sweet Chili: tastes EXACTLY like Asian zing from BWW, but a little less hot
honey sriracha: good, tastes like I expected it to.

I enjoyed all of the sauces
