I LOVE this place! BEST wings around!
Gators used to be my late night spot in when I stayed in Long Grove. The beer is always cold and the wings are DEEEEELICIOUS! Great service too! Was super excited about returning and getting those fresh wings with an Ice Cold pitcher of Modelo...

Gators Wing Shack Grill & Pizzeria offers an enjoyable dining experience with a family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant features large TVs and a "shack"-like vibe, making it a popular spot for gatherings. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially towards guests with special needs, and they provide great service. The food is freshly cooked and delicious, with a focus on meaty, juicy, and tasty wings. The barbecue wings are a highlight, covered in a sweet and rich sauce, while the Garlic Buffalo wings are highly recommended for their incredible flavor. The wings are large and meaty, so starting with a smaller order is suggested. The buffalo chicken pizza has also been praised as incredible.
Customers often mention that the wings are sizzling hot when delivered, so letting them cool off a bit is advised. The sauces are described as to die for, and the wings are prepared quickly. The restaurant also offers boneless wings and other menu items. While prices are not cheap, many feel the quality and taste are well worth it. The place is known for friendly servers and consistent food quality. There is a solid selection of beers, though some might find it limited. Gators Wing Shack is a must-visit for wing lovers and families, especially before it transitions into a more bar-like atmosphere in the evening. With excellent service and a premium product, it remains a favorite in the area or for visitors.
