“live just down the street from Lamp Lighters, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite local spots. The food is always excellent—fresh, flavorful, and consistently satisfying no matter what you order. The atmosphere feels friendly and comfortable, like a true neighborhood gem.
A special mention goes to Amber, who’s not only incredibly attentive and professional but also genuinely kind and welcoming every time I stop in. She makes the experience even better with her great energy and warm personality.

“Most days of the week there's something going on at Madcats. My wife and I live in the neighborhood. When the weather is good we walk over. Our favorite is the Blues Jam on the last Sunday of each month. Great food and drinks. Shoutout to Anna and Felix for friendly service as well as Savio and Madcat.“

“Cheers. This is a quintessential dive bar where everybody eventually knows your name. A good place to be alone or regale with friends. I’ve visited at least a half dozen times and the experience has been fine. Trish and the other bartenders have been attentive and quite friendly. I’ll be back time and time again.“

“Highly recommend it if you’re looking for tasty food and a great atmosphere! I ordered the Buffalo wings and the Buffalo Garlic wings, and both were delicious. I also tried the cheese curds, which were amazing. The beer was great as well. Overall, this is a great spot for good food, cold drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely come back.“
