“My God. In a world where people are chins on food, I opened up my chicken pita and found an explosion of delicious seasoned chicken. It was plenty full in fact I had to use a fork to finish it. “I want to share an experience we had tonight that truly touched our family.

For some background, I have a 7-year-old autistic son who struggles with behavior at school. Today, we found out that he had been selected as Student of the Week! As a reward, he got to choose where we would have dinner, and one of his favorite places is Burger King. He was especially excited because they currently have toys from one of his favorite shows, Dragon Ball.
We ordered our food online, and when we arrived at the restaurant, we found out they were sold out of all of the kids’ meal toys. For many autistic children, letting go of an idea or expectation can be incredibly difficult, especially when it’s something they were really looking forward to. To say my son was disappointed would be an understatement. There were a lot of tears, and I could see how upset he was.

I wish I had gotten the employee’s name, because she deserves to be recognized. She noticed how upset my son was and went out of her way to find a Dragon Ball toy somewhere in the restaurant. She then so graciously brought it to him and presented it to him.

That small act of kindness meant so much to our family. She completely turned what could have been a very difficult and disappointing experience into something incredibly special. She truly made my son’s night, and I am so thankful that she took the time to notice him, understand what he needed, and go the extra mile to make him smile.
People may think it was “just a toy,” but to him and to us, it was so much more than that. ❤

Thank you to the wonderful Burger King employee who reminded us that a little kindness can make a huge difference. I hope her manager sees this and knows what an amazing employee they have.“

“That guy Timothy that left a review must be pretty ignorant. The owner of the franchise doesn't work their not is he a cashier. Dirty hands pouring drinks? Did he inspect the persons hands? Sometimes people just need to vent and be keyboard warriors. Anyway, this location is always clean and the service is usually fast but they are also short staffed cause no one wants to work anywhere. People doesn't realize that they also have to fill DoorDash and UberEATS and GrubHub orders. So please people, give them a break when your order is taking a while. Low on employees and mobile orders come in on the fly.“

“I was waiting for my money to come in an app to order some burgers and while the money hadn't come yet the workers here made my food then proceeded to wait the couple mins I had asked for in order to get money on my card to grab the burgers. “Ordered takeout last night for the kids. Walked in. The staff had music playing as they were making the pizzas - one guy was dancing. He turned and looked at me with the most genuine smile and asked if I was having a good day - and on my way out shouted "Have a great night, boss!" The guy at the checkout was having fun.
