“My God. In a world where people are chins on food, I opened up my chicken pita and found an explosion of delicious seasoned chicken. It was plenty full in fact I had to use a fork to finish it. “Great food. I used to come here regularly when I lived in the area. We stopped by while visiting family in the area. Food was still great and my kids loved his burger. We had an issue where my son's nose started bleeding and the staff went out of their way to help or see if we needed anything. It was a minor issue for us. But the staff went above and beyond in helping out. Very glad to be able to visit one of my favorite local places! The kids also loved the milk shakes. Looking forward to visiting again!!“

“Great service, great food, great prices. If the Ritz and glamor of the typical eateries in wheeling and Deerfield don't fit your budget, this place is ready to serve you a hot delicious meal without breaking the bank. I can't remember the last time I spent less than $10 on a polish sausage meal, much less eating out in general, but The Dog Walk filled me up without emptying my pockets. Definitely will be a staple for me when I'm working in the area.“

“Although I don't live nearby, this place caught my eye online so I thought I would try it. They have both hot dogs and fancier haute dogs. I opted for the former with all the condiments, fries and onion rings. The service was friendly and prompt and all the food good. The seating is limited but if you get a seat, there's lots of natural light and when I was there, the Grateful Dead were playing which just added to the ambiance of a suburban location.“

“Picked up my first order tonight. I had been told by others The Food is good. We ordered two burgers, large fry, and gyros. Was very happy with all. Quality ingredients, not chintzy with the onion, tomato. Great gyro sauce. Not a big Fry fan, but as they were out of mushrooms, onion rings, tater tots, etc we got the Fries. The Fries were surprisingly good. Friendly and efficient workers on phone and picking up our order.“

“Pepperoni pizza slice and pop for $3. Hot dog and pop for $1.50. You can't beat those choices for inexpensive lunch. However, service can be slow. I miss the ice cream bar in which they dipped the ice cream bar in chocolate and added chopped nuts. That was so good. I wish they would bring that back.“

“Passing through ORD, of course I'm going to get a Chicago dog. But even the best laid plans get sidetracked!

There are terminals you can order from, and while I was putting in my order, a staffer suggested their Maxwell Street hot dog (prepped by the amazing Oumar) - their only grilled offering! - and I couldn't resist. She was friendly and I went along with it.

Worth a visit if you're craving a hot dog and have a layover.

“Today was my first time and if I lived in the area it wouldn’t be my last! The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Wiener Take All! They have a variety of options and the customer service was behind amazing.“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! “I have been wanting to try Kong Dog for a while and I’m glad we did. The customer service was great and the food was better than expected.
You place your own order at the kiosk, but the staff was very helpful with our questions. The cook and cashier were both super kind.
The only downside was the seating area. The tables needed to be wiped down, although the ordering station and food line looked clean. Overall, a good experience and I would go back. We did take our food to go.“

Super yummy Garlic sauce and the Pommes (French Fries) are phenomenal - try it like the Germans do in Red (ketchup) & White (mayo). The Chicago Dog… I mean, it’s Chicago…you just have to! It’s a dream in your mouth😍
The Philly… why would you expect to get a freshly grilled to order just for you fast and cheap and also delicious Philly in an airport? You wouldn’t because that just doesn’t happen. Until Gold Coast Dogs.
The Gyro… why would you expect to have a huge delicious gyro freshly sliced and seared just for you in a hot dog stand that also makes great Philly’s? You wouldn’t, until Gold Coast Dogs.
To the reviewer who said the staff was rude, get over it. These guys work their tails off all day cranking out stellar sandwiches for cranky travelers. They aren’t there to be your friend; they mean business.
