“Kong Dog in Vernon Hills was SO good!! I got the Hot Cheeto Kong Dog with the chicken sausage and it was seriously amazing 🔥🙌🏼 The perfect amount of crunch and flavor and everything tasted super fresh!

The staff was so nice, everything was clean, and it was just such a fun place to try. Definitely not your average corn dog 😂 If you haven’t tried Kong Dog yet, you need to! We will 100% be back!!“

“I’ve been meaning to leave this review for some time but life gets hectic and busy and I know these fine business owners understand that all too well. Hubbys has the best hotdogs hands down! My kids LOVE their cheese fries!
But it’s not just the food that keeps us coming back, it’s the owners and staff too! They are always friendly, we’re greeted with exceptional service everytime!
We hired their hotdog cart for a family 4th of July party this year and it was the best addition to our celebration! Even through torrential downpours, Hubby’s delivered with a happy smile! The cart was set up (under a tent of course) and hotdogs were prepared perfectly and we all enjoyed celebrating with good ol American hotdogs!
So if you’re looking for a quick and friendly bite to eat, stop in!
If you’re looking to cater an event, definitely consider Hubby’s Hotdog carts!
Either way, you won’t be disappointed!

“Picked up my first order tonight. I had been told by others The Food is good. We ordered two burgers, large fry, and gyros. Was very happy with all. Quality ingredients, not chintzy with the onion, tomato. Great gyro sauce. Not a big Fry fan, but as they were out of mushrooms, onion rings, tater tots, etc we got the Fries. The Fries were surprisingly good. Friendly and efficient workers on phone and picking up our order.“

“We like to go to the Costco Food Court for dinner when we have tickets to the movie theater next door. It's fast, cheap, and the food is always good. In my opinion, Costco has the best New York style pizza in the Midwest. The food court is always crowded, so it could be bigger. It is also adjacent to the exit aisle, so even more people pass by as you are sitting, enjoying your dinner. I like to think of it as a parade of shoppers, showing off what they purchased. I find it very entertaining. Of course, there is no table service at Costco, but the people behind the counter move a lot of food in a short amount of time. They are excellent. Over all, for a quick bite, the Costco Food Court is tough to beat. Give it a try, you don't have to be a member to enjoy the food.“

“Massive Doener with the REAL Fladenbrot (type of flatbread) just like in Germany!! Super yummy Garlic sauce and the Pommes (French Fries) are phenomenal - try it like the Germans do in Red (ketchup) & White (mayo). This little hot-dog place may be your unexpected best bet, at least at this end of the airpot. Three cold options in the fridge, none of which looked particularly appetising to me, but the Impossible burger was thoroughly satisfying, in an urban comfort-food sort of way. A lot better than Burger King's version. Comes with fries, which were really excellent — cooked just right. Nowhere to sit, so you may be carrying to seating somewhere else. Staff are friendly.“
