“First , the smoke and aroma comin’ out the roof exhaust pipes . Lol 😛 Known for their hamburgers , dogs , apparently everything else on their menu is good . Being a member of Chicago Italian Beefs fB page , I just HAD to try theirs . Pretty darn good ! 9.0/10 Sweet n hot , dipped , nice crinkly fries 🍟 comin’ for da ride , and a tamale 🫔 to wash it down . Nice job guys at the PP in Des Plaines !!!“

“Total child hood nostalgia for anyone who has grew up in the area. The food tastes the same as it did in the 90's, and is my go to fast food joint. Hotdogs, gyro, bulgogi, are among my faves. Definitely give it a try if you're ever in the area.“

“I must say I didn't know there were two Bob O's Restaurants in Chicagoland. VutI stopped in to try the Beef and the hot dogs. They were good but I like the beef on Irving Park more. But I would eat here again if I was in the hood.“

“Great service, great food, great prices. If the Ritz and glamor of the typical eateries in wheeling and Deerfield don't fit your budget, this place is ready to serve you a hot delicious meal without breaking the bank. I can't remember the last time I spent less than $10 on a polish sausage meal, much less eating out in general, but The Dog Walk filled me up without emptying my pockets. Definitely will be a staple for me when I'm working in the area.“

“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady“

“Went for a late weekday lunch. Just ordered the Chicago dog, fries and soda. Hit the spot! More of a takeaway place for locals. No real parking, only paid street parking. A small counter to stand and eat if you'd like (I did). Nice owner.“

“Surprisingly, one of the best hot dogs in the area, maybe the city.
Their dragged through the garden link is quintessentially a classic Chicago Dog, served with a snappy link, a salty bouquet of fresh and pickled vegetables, and a soft warm poppy seed bun. The fries are also better than most crinkle cuts, and their fountain drink ratios are on point.

“Went to Little Louie’s on a whim and we loved it. We got a Cajun wrap and cheeseburger with fries. All of it was out to the table very fast and it was excellent tasting. We aren’t from the area but it will be a place we stop at when we come back thru for sure“

“We moved here two years ago from NY and finally had Josh’s for dinner. Their menu is fantastic, with a lot of different options. We had the Ribs and Greek Chicken dinner. My husband said “these are amongst the best ribs I’ve ever had”. The Greek chicken was amazing. The food portions are more than generous. This will be our Friday night go to place for sure! The staff was also so friendly!“

“Not the best dog or polish in Chicago, but definitely in the top ten. This from someone who has been shoving them into his face for over sixty-five years. I've been to 'em all on the north side - Lerner's, the Ranch,' the Pit, Sammy Skobel's, Wolfy's, Fluky's, Dear Franks', Michaels, Stashes, Mutt and Jeff's, Shmendels, and all of the Irvings. ALL of them. Little Island stands right up there. What they do have that is the best in Cook County are their fries. Best ever. They don't travel well, so have them there. Grilled polish is outstanding. And NEVER, EVER, EVER order a dog or a Polishj with anything red - ketchup OR tomato. Two stars for atmosphere - if that's important to you, go to Portillo's.“
