“Went in and love that its pet friendly. Had a good variety of hot dogs that I havent seen in other places, sandwiches and burgers, and bowls. I had the lemongrass grilled chicken bowl over rice. So good and unique flavors. The fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely returning with the pup.“

“When I’m in this part of town, I always make it a point to stop in for lunch or dinner. I’ve been here over a dozen times in the past four years, and not once have I had a bad experience with either the service or the food. I’m always trying something new, and everything I’ve ordered has been flavorful and delicious.

If you sit at the bar, the bartenders are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. They mix a fantastic cocktail, too. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the Glenview, Northbrook, or Northfield area or if you live in the city like me and want to try something different head north it’s truly a great place!“

I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. “My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

“Amazing service! Enjoyed a birthday dinner for my husband, and the meal was taking a little long to come out. We didn't even say anything since it was a Saturday, and understood things gets busy. Manager came over immediately and said dessert was on the house along with an additional taco (the culprit of the delayed meals)!“

“We held an 80 person event here and the coordinator Caryn was detailed, communicative and so nice! The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! Everyone loved the event and the food and we already want to book again!“
