“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!”

“I just love this little sandwich shop. We weren’t really hungry but realized we were close by so decided to stop. For “not very hungry” I sure did eat a lot. The ham and brie is my favorite. So so good. The ham is shaved thin and stacked thick. The brie is fresh. The bread is fresh and perfectly crusty on the outside but soft inside. The owner, Arthur, was quick to get me a requested cup of ice for my drink (I’m that person). He was also friendly, stopping to chat a bit, during a lull. Not many lulls at Deliska though. Seems to be a popular dine-in AND takeout. Arthur said their sign is (finally) arriving soon. I expect being noticeable from Waukegan Rd will really up their walk-in business. Try their sandwiches. You won’t regret it. And take a pic before devouring most of it.”

We live in Naperville but I saw this place on Instagram and I just had to come here. Wonderful people behind the counter. I got the honey butter chicken sandwich and loaded fries. My girlfiend got the garlic parm boneless wings and fries. We were blown away by the freshness and taste. I already prefer my chicken and fries fried in beef tallow, but the fries here were so crispy and flavorful and you really taste the delicious tallow. The chicken in my sandwich was so crisp and juicy and tender. I was so excited to eat it I burnt my tongue from how hot it was and it was still one of the best meals I've ever had LOL. The loaded fries are out of this world. My girlfends enjoyed her meal too. No driving distance is too far for this place. Well certainly be back.”

I got the twice cooked chili fish was my favorite dish, the Mongolian beef had thick cuts of tender beef and seafood garlic fried rice was full of shrimp scallops mussels and fish. The menu has so much to choose from, I look forward to visiting again”

Everything feels relaxed inside, and the atmosphere is comfortable enough to sit for a while and enjoy your drink. My visits have been smooth and pleasant, and the staff always seem to create a positive environment. It is definitely one of my favorite Starbucks locations around Glenview, and I am always happy to come back.”

The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. Support this business because they are a differentiator.”

“We have been going to Chinatown Kitchen since their kids were little and now they are in college. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Takeout area always clean and you can see an area of kitchen same way. We have certain preferences that we do not want put into the food and we are very happy the results and the tastes. “Came here on a whim one day for a snack with my family, April and Randall took such good care of us. They were so welcoming and kind that we drive the extra distance to come to this location rather than any of the closer Einstein Bros stores, even with gas being what it is now! Our kids love the bagels so much that we end up needing new shmear each time and the bagels really help on school mornings. Can’t say enough good things about this location or my interactions with them, and I can only hope they get the recognition and praise they rightfully deserve.”

“Highly recommend Joy Grill! They recently added some hot Korean soups to their menu- so good!!

If you’re looking for a good lunch spot, come and get the grill options, you get rice, meat, and Korean side dishes included. Extremely good value. It’s perfect for both a quick takeout or for a dine-in.

For dinner, I’d recommend coming here to try the Spicy Tofu soup or the newer Hot Pot options. If you don’t like spicy stuff, they have really good fried rice and stir fry Korean style noodles too. You can either get a seafood or a veggie tofu soup but there are a lot of other veggie options if that’s your thing.

You can also come with friends and have a drink (they have some good Korean soju and beer). Highly rec”
