We live half a block away from your beautiful new restaurant and just wrapped up our first meal there. The food, the ambiance, and the service were impeccable. However, we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge that our server made our entire night the most memorable dining experience we have ever had.
Lindsay E was prompt, knowledgeable, and, more importantly, extraordinarily personable. We were astounded at her aptitude for dealing with food allergies seamlessly, her timeliness to service and to our endless asks and needs, and her overall hospitality.
Thank you all for being so welcoming and for the incredible evening we had with you.
If you haven’t already considered, we feel Lindsay has a high potential in you restaurant group and we take a recommendation like that quite seriously.

“We held an 80 person event here and the coordinator Caryn was detailed, communicative and so nice! The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! Everyone loved the event and the food and we already want to book again!“

“How could a bar cure my aversion to celery?!? I’m not sure, but it happened. I met a friend here, and after a fun couple of hours sampling the epic novel of a beer list, we went for the moule frites. I was mainly interested in the frites, especially when I saw the celery on the mussels. But I did try them, and their broth. The broth!! It was otherworldly. After a few bites, I realized the magic ingredient had to be the celery. And the rosemary, thyme, onion, and probably a beer brewed by the Belgian monks. Go here, people.“

“The food came out in generous portions. MI vs. MN game and White Sox streaming with drink specials ($5 Modelos and Mimosas) to go along.
The server, delightful middle-aged guy in rainbow tie-dye treated us well!
The patio looked awesome (tho’ we chose a high top).
2:00 and their brunch and lunch menus were being served. Their croissant breakfast sammie and their BLAAT on sourdough were served with fresh arugula. The American fries and French fries were really good!“

“The sign says established in 1932, and every time I've driven by, I think I need to stop in. I finally did, and am kicking myself for wasted time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The large bar and restaurant seating is comfortable and spacious. There is a variety of beers on tap, served in well-frosted glasses. We sat at the bar and I had one of the best burgers I've ever had, served with homemade chips. It was so good that I almost returned with another companion the next day!“

“We arrived a little early but were seated right away. Our server met with us shortly after we sat down and within minutes we had our cocktails and our dinner order was in. “Lindsay is the best. We were tired after traveling all day. The food and drink were perfect to reenergize us. Shrimp pasta and jambalaya were excellent. Service was great. Tonight we went back and took a friend. We asked for Lindsey and she even remembered us and our drink preferences. The flatbreads and chocolate cake are great. Cannot beat this atmosphere.“

“I’m going to be so honest and say I’ve never been there but we can’t wait to. The owners and their family saved Thanksgiving when they donated food, resources and a kitchen to prepare food for 400-500 people (free of charge) at the 28th annual Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Benedict’s when the church’s kitchen became unusable. We met Halsted personally while volunteering and we were just take aback at how generous, kind and lovely these folks were to take on this challenge and on a holiday. I hope our community will continue to remember this and support these fantastic folks for a long, long time.“

“This is a fantastic new spot located at the Wilmette Public Golf Course ⛳️✨ The place has been completely renovated and looks fresh and modern, which really adds to the overall vibe 😍 The menu is thoughtfully put together by an experienced manager named John, and you can tell there’s a lot of care behind it 👍 The food is great, and they also offer an impressive selection of top-shelf spirits 🍸
It’s exciting that the menu is still evolving, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it develops over the summer ☀️ They’re planning an open-wall concept that will blend the indoor and outdoor spaces, along with a spacious patio where you can relax and enjoy drinks with friends 🍹 Definitely a place worth checking out!“

“I'm traveling for work, just landed in Chicago, went to go to the USO, and was told, as a veteran having had deployed to Iraq, that I am not allowed in the USO by some civilian. That's wild. Guy said he needed DoD id, then I pointed to where my member ID was. He said not good enough and told me I had to leave. I've gone to a lot of USO's and never been turned away as a vet.“

“First visit at Jackman & Co. and we will be back! The atmosphere and vibes of this place were great for a Friday night date night. Started with a couple Peachy Heat Margs at their iconic bar...would highly recommend arriving early to sit and enjoy the people and views here.
Dined outside on their dimly lit patio and started with the Lobster & Shrimp Ceviche which was fresh and delicious. Although there were a lot of other higher end dinner choices, I went with the Beer Battered Fish & Chips based on reviews. Easily the best fish & chips I've had, accompanied by an amazing dill dipping sauce.
The service from the host, bartender and ultimately our server was very accommodating and friendly. Check this place out!“
