Fun place. Service was excellent, food out quickly. Had the burger and it was 9 out of 10. Sweet potato tots were new to me. Great side. Will def be back next time in CHI.

Phenomenal food. LOVE literally all their house made sauces, I tend to order extra sides of their sauces just because they are so good on a variety of things. Their southwest salad with the habanero ranch is godly ... Expensive as heck if you add chicken, but like .. everything is expensive right now so no qualms there. Service. .. hit or miss. Ive dined in 3 times and twice I got a female bartender who ... As a 14 year industry vet, I can tell she's checked out and doesn't care....read full review

The Avondale Tap is a cool, chill spot to grab drinks and food. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a range of options, including the popular B.LA.A.T. (B.LT) and the duck grinder, as well as a fried chicken sandwich and a burger that customers love. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and service is spot on, with frequent but not annoying check-ins. The bar has a huge beer selection and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for trivia night or watching sports on the TVs. Main plates are all around 18 dollars, and the place is not too loud, making it a favorite neighborhood spot.
