“Visited her before a show at Thalia Hall with some friends for dinner and it was definitely a great experience. The food was fantastic tasting and exceeded my expectations. The portion sizes were on the smaller side, but ok for the price. The drinks were well crafted and tasted good also. My only issue was we needed to leave to be on time for our concert and the dessert and check came out quite slow which left us rushing to wrap up dinner. The manager was kind and offered to comp the dessert for us which we appreciated. I would return again and recommend this establishment.“

“Still dreaming about the tuna tartare. I'd go back for this again. The Caesar salad was our boring choice, but oh was so NOT boring at all. Great presentation and incredible flavour with large pieces of perfect bacon on top. Next was the Spanish octopus. Fabulous. Followed by the aged pork chop. Next time we would probably go for a different pork item but it was very flavourful, tender, and the apple sauce puree was perfect. Excellent wine pairing recommended by the waiter. But why don't they serve bread with every meal? Cliche? Perhaps. Go here. Drink wine. Eat well. Be happy.“

“Food was great, but service was lacking.Wait was quite long on the weekend, but that was expected. If I were to go again, I'd probably bring my own latte for the line, ha. But the maiz con leche was everything I hoped it would be. The longanisa was superb. I couldn't identify the spices, but it had such a different balance than what I'm used to in Latin cuisine. They have an odd ordering/seating system where you order at the front, pay, but then they don't sit you for a while, then they sit you, then they bring you out your food. They came by 4 times during our brunch to tell us that they couldn't find our lattes in the system. Not once did they ask what the lattes were. They eventually brought out the lattes as we were just finishing our meals (and obviously found them in the system since they brought out the right ones). Since we already tipped, I guess no incentive to do anything about the poor service. They didn't comp the lattes, they didn't bring out a little dessert, etc. like you might see in a any other restaurant.Obviously they need to make the ticketing system more accessible to their waiters or train them on it better.“

I had high expectations, but boy did this place exceed them! This is a must-try establishment in Wicker Park. Their menu is constantly rotating, the staff are well-informed and true cocktail enthusiasts who will make sure you have a great time here, and they're located in the coolest spot (inside an artistic mural, which gives major speakeasy and pre-prohibition style vibes). They serve some food as well and even welcomed my party with complimentary champagne for a birthday we were celebrating. Check them out ASAP if you're a cocktail fanatic like me! Menu is full of unique dishes… elevated dumpling and noodles are a signature. Beautifully plated and generous- but not overly. Cocktail menu is fun, with zero proof options that are spot on. Save room for baked Alaska. Oh, and ambiance is chic but allows the focus to be where it belongs. On the food. Upscale West Loop experience in modest Portage Park for a lot less and no pretense.“

The avocado toast had a touch of pesto sauce, adding a nice flavor, though I would have preferred a slightly larger portion for the $20 price. Had to pay extra 8 dollars if you wanted eggs on side. The coffee was alright, but I've had better. The service was very good, our waiter was efficient and the view and location were excellent. Seating was only for 1hr and 30mins which I felt is kinda rush esp when you are paying more than usual for a breakfast and if might be not enough time to catch up with friends.“

“Ada Street was a phenomenal Chicago restaurant experience. My friends and I had a last minute cancellation that we decided to turn into a walk-in later that evening. Deliste the late hour, the chef, hostesses, and bartenders greeted us warmly and treated us with hospitable warmth. The food was diverse in palette and flavor, but cohesive. It never tasted as if it had sat under a warmer for any time, and it as cooled to perfected. The doughnuts was the sleeper dish, closer to a churro, but in a good way. 10/10 recommend.“
