“We went to the new location on Belmont this last weekend & are so thrilled with our experience. From the service to the drinks and the food, everything was delicious. I ordered the steak sandwich & thought it was fantastic (I like mine cheesy & saucy). My husband ordered the "Da Bears" burger & ate the whole thing. We started with the cheese curds that the table cleared within minutes. Our server was wonderful as well, she was attentive & we never had an empty glass. If you like trying all kinds of martini's, we really enjoyed the "pickletini". Cannot wait to go again & enjoy their patio & try a bloody mary :)“

“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. We can't wait until we travel north again, because we know where we are staying! 5 stars! A++++“

“This is a really nice spot to hang out. It's quiet enough you can have a conversation and they have sports on the multiple TVs. When the weather is nice, they also have outdoor seating. The bar staff is friendly. They also have probably my favorite food in all of Avondale. I highly recommend the wings or the nachos, but everything I've had is very quality.“

“We went at Christmas time. They decorate the restaurant from the ceiling to the floor in lights. You can't help but get in the festive mood. We did make reservations and we came earlier and they still sat us. The staff was very friendly. I started with a cocktail called the Ramblers Rest. It was tasty. I could really taste the pomegranate notes. For appetizers we got the poutine. It is okay. For dinner I got the chef's wedge salad it was delicious. The homemade ranch dressing and the bacon bits totally made the salad. My hubby got their shepherd's pie. He said it was great. They have Coke products. They have a private area, and plenty of seating options. They have two fire places. I definitely want to go back during the summer. It looks like they have a large patio. Oh and they have a no stroller rule in the restaurant.

“A quaint Mediterranean family owned restaurant with the best food and Turkish coffee. We had cevaps (kabobs) in homemade bread and sopska salad made with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers that seemed fresh tasting even during winter season. The Turkish coffee was better than anywhere else that I tried in other ethnic restaurants. The owners were also very cordial and it was a pleasure to meet and speak with them about their journey. Definitely a place worth the to visit if in the area.“

“We are visiting from NC and we tried a few other restaurants/taverns and Sweetwater Tavern and Grille is hands down the best place to go. The atmosphere is perfect (for watching football) for chilling and catching some sports. There is plenty of space for everyone without feeling crowded and the service/staff are 5 star. Mauricio took care of us in world class fashion and we met Kathy, the manager, who makes sure everyone has a great experience. They honestly made us feel like regulars after our first visit. You can go to Chicago and hit all the bars and feel mediocre, or you can visit Sweetwater Tavern and Grille and feel like you found your spot. We will definitely be back next time we visit. “I attended a friend's birthday party in a private upstairs room, which featured a full bar and three beautifully decorated party spaces with ample seating. The front room had a pool table that was a hit throughout the evening. Our friend highly recommended the wings, and they definitely lived up to the hype! The bar staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring all guests were well taken care of. I highly recommend this venue and will definitely consider hosting a celebration here myself!“

Personally, I do not think there is a food establishment that the servers and bartenders seem like great friends, both with each other and with patrons. “Great local find! The patio/beer garden is dog friendly with a fire pit, TVs and really nice comfortable seating, plus lawn games connect 4. There was a nicer wine selection than I was expecting for a local bar. The inside design was lovely.

New menu just started and fried chicken sandwich was so tasty!! Menu is small but everything we had was very good.
