“We went to the new location on Belmont this last weekend & are so thrilled with our experience. From the service to the drinks and the food, everything was delicious. I ordered the steak sandwich & thought it was fantastic (I like mine cheesy & saucy). My husband ordered the "Da Bears" burger & ate the whole thing. We started with the cheese curds that the table cleared within minutes. Our server was wonderful as well, she was attentive & we never had an empty glass. If you like trying all kinds of martini's, we really enjoyed the "pickletini". Cannot wait to go again & enjoy their patio & try a bloody mary :)“

“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. We can't wait until we travel north again, because we know where we are staying! 5 stars! A++++“

“This is a really nice spot to hang out. It's quiet enough you can have a conversation and they have sports on the multiple TVs. When the weather is nice, they also have outdoor seating. The bar staff is friendly. They also have probably my favorite food in all of Avondale. I highly recommend the wings or the nachos, but everything I've had is very quality.“

“We went at Christmas time. They decorate the restaurant from the ceiling to the floor in lights. You can't help but get in the festive mood. We did make reservations and we came earlier and they still sat us. The staff was very friendly. I started with a cocktail called the Ramblers Rest. It was tasty. I could really taste the pomegranate notes. For appetizers we got the poutine. It is okay. For dinner I got the chef's wedge salad it was delicious. The homemade ranch dressing and the bacon bits totally made the salad. My hubby got their shepherd's pie. He said it was great. They have Coke products. They have a private area, and plenty of seating options. They have two fire places. I definitely want to go back during the summer. It looks like they have a large patio. Oh and they have a no stroller rule in the restaurant.

“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“After calling multiple places to get a patio reservation, Chicago Brewhouse was the first out of 12 that put my name without hesitation and were so kind on the phone. Upon arrival a few days later, I released they were down, like right on the river. I was beyond excited. They have these cute red tables and chairs that sit right along the river side that can seat two people or on the patio tables that could sit 4 which is where we were. We decided to just share a few plates. The Italian beef, which they cut into three, there were three of us so that was perfect. We went with the hot peppers and it came with a side of chips and au jus. Wow was it tasty, packed with flavor and heat! We also had the elote and beef tacos which also were delicious, tangy, sweet, heat, seasoned to perfection. To top it off we also ordered the charcuterie board and while I would've loved to have seen some cheese on that plate, the mustard and jam combo with the meats and crackers topped with a nice crisp mixed green lettuce leaf and a hot pepper was to die for! We each ordered a drink and each was phenomenal. Each of the staff members who sat us, waited on us were kind and attentive. I am so thankful to Chicago Brewhouse for allowing the patio reservation and for making my friends birthday worth the few drive into the city. I didn't know that most restaurants up there don't allow patio reservations which was a let down but Chicago Brewhouse was set the bar and I hope to visit there again soon.“

“Such an amazing spot! A great addition to the neighborhood! The service is amazing, everyone who works here is so friendly, kind and attentive. The food is great (the santi spring rolls is a hit on the salty side however). This spot is not just great as a local spot, but also worth a trip. The outdoor patio area is so nice and has music and indoors, there’s a really charming atmosphere with a fireplace. Love it!“

“A quaint Mediterranean family owned restaurant with the best food and Turkish coffee. We had cevaps (kabobs) in homemade bread and sopska salad made with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers that seemed fresh tasting even during winter season. The Turkish coffee was better than anywhere else that I tried in other ethnic restaurants. The owners were also very cordial and it was a pleasure to meet and speak with them about their journey. Definitely a place worth the to visit if in the area.“

The Chevaps are tasty, the chicken schnitzel is out of this world and the smash burger is by FAR the best burger I have ever tasted. Add an amazing drink from the bartender and there is no better place for a great meal.“

Personally, I do not think there is a food establishment that the servers and bartenders seem like great friends, both with each other and with patrons. “Great local find! The patio/beer garden is dog friendly with a fire pit, TVs and really nice comfortable seating, plus lawn games connect 4. There was a nicer wine selection than I was expecting for a local bar. The inside design was lovely.
