“I came from San Francisco to visit a friend and was interested in trying out a cozy neighborhood pub. This place gave me 'Cheers' vibes (loved the banter between the patrons and the proprietor) we got the BLT which was super tasty. Non-pretentious, good food-drinks + relaxed ambiance…just what we were searching for!“

“Grabbed dinner at Four Moon Tavern and it hit just right. Went with the pimento burger and a side of those beer battered onion rings. Burger was juicy with that cheesy kick, rings came out crispy and not greasy at all. Place has that classic pub feel, jukebox going, couple folks playing pool in the back, patio was open so we sat outside for a bit. Bartender was chill and kept the beers coming without any wait. Solid neighborhood spot when you just want good bar food and a laid back vibe.“

Their southwest salad with the habanero ranch is godly ... Expensive as heck if you add chicken, but like .. everything is expensive right now so no qualms there. Service. .. hit or miss. Ive dined in 3 times and twice I got a female bartender who ... As a 14 year industry vet, I can tell she's checked out and doesn't care. Would never stop me from keep going back though. “Stopped by for the Guinness but decided to have dinner as well. The shepherds pie and the castleisland baked onion soup were both delicious. The Guinness was great too. Our bartender was very friendly and service was excellent. We'll be back!“

“We had a wonderful time going for the first time for a friend’s birthday. Our server Micky was so friendly and accommodating! The owner generously comped some drinks for us as first time customers. The plantains with the onion-forward dipping sauce were phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts had a lovely balsamic glaze topped with creamy goat cheese. Several of us ordered burgers with side salads, and the greens were of high quality. The standard vinaigrette offered was a wonderful blend of tangy and subtlety sweet. The smash burger patties were cooked well with crisp edges while maintaining a juicy interior. The garlic parm fries had a crisp exterior and fluffy texture. Everything was phenomenal, and Micky even helped us with the cake our friend made and brought. Do yourself a favor and come check this spot out!“

“We just happened to fall on this wonderful little gem! We had a delicious FAK burger, poutine, onion rings, and grandma's cheesy smashed potatoes. The burger was fantastic! The rest I can't complain about either! Our server was the owners' son. So kind and nice to talk with! We're not from the area, but it might be worth the drive to go back! We were on our way back to Indiana from O'hare, so it's not our of the way! We were there on a Saturday and they were having live music later in the evening. There's an outside seating area and inside tables as well. Outside area is also open in winter with it enclosed and heaters! Great place to watch your favorite Chicago team!“

“The Vegan Birria Tacos (hibiscus flowers, spicy dipping sauce, vegan cheese, cilantro, onion, elote salad) are excellent. There were some very interesting flavors, the tacos have amazing variances in texture and a variety of flavors in a bite sweet, sour, tangy and just a little bit of heat. Great rotating draft beer options. The decor is very interesting with a huge dragon artwork on the ceiling in the bar area. I can wait to come back.“

“We were greeted by friendly staff and patrons as soon as we walked in on a Sunday evening. We were asked what we wanted to drink right away and even though the taps blew we were led to other options. The food menu was the perfect size and the bartender answered all of our questions and even made us laugh a few times. The food was cooked right in front of us and it tasted so freaking good. Perfect bar.“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

If you get there late, there’s a good chance you can still find a seat upstairs (within reason, don’t expect a seat if you’re coming in at halftime). Everything on the menu we had was fairly tasty, and both the food and drinks were extraordinarily reasonably priced, especially for Wicker Park. The staff were incredibly overworked and I felt bad stopping the waitress each time while she was literally sprinting around. Hope they can get some help, but I will definitely be back!“

Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. “About seven months ago, I moved to the Wicker Park/Logan Square area and decided that the best way to get to know my new neighborhood was to explore the bars along Milwaukee Avenue. I am so glad I came across Swig.

I arrived alone and was feeling extremely shy, but your employee, Eric, gave me an amazing experience that I truly appreciate. I had a blast! His energy made me feel incredibly welcome because of the wonderful service he provided, I am planning to make Swig a regular weekend hangout spot and look forward to bringing a group of friends with me next time.

“Had a great time here! Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the Brussel Sprouts, add the hot honey, a Fish and Chips with an upgrade side of truffle fries, and a Veggie burger. Beers on draft were great, and we had made it in time for happy hour pricing. Staff was attentive and very nice. The place is very spacious and on a upper level. There is an elevator for the handicap accessible, but make sure to ask for assistance!“
