“What a very nice comfortable bar. Great service and friendly bartender. One thing I didn't know is that they don't serve any food. They do have a nice outdoor patio. They also have a pool table and live large TV screens for watching sporting events.??“

I enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar brat and my daughter loved the pretzel and the cheese filled polish sausage.Beer selection, though limited and bottle only, included some European beers which went well with the food.It's more of a gambling facility than a restaurant, but it was good for what it was.Service was excellent and prices were half off when we went so it was quite inexpensive which provided great value for what we got.“
“Yes! Food "EXCELLENT" but the bartender *KENDRA* was so worth given Mike's Place another try! So offered GREAT customer service from beginning to end! “For some reason this place has bad ratings, however, I don’t understand why. The food at Nuevo Vallarta is so fresh and delicious. I always share a small tray of langostinos ? and sometimes another small appetizer like a sushi roll. For mains I always get the Pasta brava! Definitely one of my favorite entrees. My partner always gets the arroz con mariscos and always order an extra side of bread because it’s that good.“
“I'm only leaving this review because of my bartender Alicia. If not for her this review would've been a 2 star. I paid 20 to get in. They're were plenty of seats but I had to stand up at the bar to watch the Terence Crawford fight. I bought drinks customarily as soon as soon as I got in and still had to stand. I wanted to enjoy the fight but they didn't care because I didn't buy food. I might have bought food but I didn't because of this. My bartender Alicia was courteous and apologetic due to the circumstances but not only was she nice, she was beautiful to boot. If I ever come back it's only, and I mean only; because of her.Parking: Not alot of spaces in the assigned parking lot, but there is a neighborhood around that you will definitely find spots in.“
“The taquitos are quite good. And the home made salsas are fab. You need to try both! But the tomatillo avocado was my favorite. The drinks were nice and they have a nice local craft beer selection. The piña poblano was spicy and the draft margarita was delicious.“
“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. We can't wait until we travel north again, because we know where we are staying! 5 stars! A++++“

“For Friday date night it was perfect! Appreciated the security safety first right. Service was good, they waste no time to clean up. The food, best i had, seriously returning for the food for sure. It was authentic, homemade delicious. We started with a bucket of Estrella beers, tried the Michelada since they are known for the best of Chicago and a cantarito. So good! Music, TVs, everything was nice. For a Friday it was busy but it felt very chill. It was a perfect Friday night. Thank you!“
