Ive dined in 3 times and twice I got a female bartender who ... As a 14 year industry vet, I can tell she's checked out and doesn't care. Would never stop me from keep going back though. “Sunday afternoon offered a pleasant escape from the drizzle outside. The food was surprisingly good for what they charge, truly excellent value. A bit noisy even on a slow day, but overall a worthwhile stop for a meal that won't break the bank.“

“I stopped by on a walk and decided to check this out prior to selecting a dinner spot for my trip in Chicago. Greeted with charm as I requested to just take a glance at the space. We ended up coming back around 7 pm for dinner and I have to say… it was a stellar choice. Willow was a delightful human to serve us. We picked a seat in the window, it was a romantic and cozy vibe. Low lighting, just perfect for a dinner with a friend. Shepards Nachos are a MUST. Beef Tips…a must. Get the cheesecake… Shoutout to Willow for being a wonderful person to be around during our trip. “My wife and I visited Chief O’Neil’s last night for a late drink during a quick trip to Chicago. We were personally greeted and served by proprietor Anluan McKinney who took great care of us and told us about the pub’s history. The food and drinks were wonderful and the pub was clean, comfortable, and authentic. It may be my favorite Irish pub in the US.“

“I would have enjoyed Little Toasted six stars had I not been riding a train and on a layover whilst wearing comfortable clothing and not something nicer. I ended up there at happy hour on a Wednesday that didn’t include happy hour prices on beer but did on whiskey. Ordered an $8 beer anyways and was underwhelmed by its size. Lucky for me whiskey neat or on ice is half off. Very lucky for me and to make me happy, they had Hudson Rye Maple Cask (not often spotted in the wild). I asked for a 2 ounce pour over ice and it paired well with the tiny Hazy Beer Hug I was also sipping on. I didn’t try any food, but wish I had been hungry as the menu was small but packed in flavorful sounding options. Seems like this place is always going to be jumping at happy hour, so plan accordingly.“

“We had a corporate event there, and the area we were assigned only had ping-pong, basketball, and bowling. To use other games, there was an extra charge, and there was no karaoke room for us. However, we were treated very well. The food, though, was not impressive.“

“I'm traveling for work, just landed in Chicago, went to go to the USO, and was told, as a veteran having had deployed to Iraq, that I am not allowed in the USO by some civilian. That's wild. Guy said he needed DoD id, then I pointed to where my member ID was. He said not good enough and told me I had to leave. I've gone to a lot of USO's and never been turned away as a vet.“
