“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“Always loved their Greek pastries, they are the best, started going to them 60 yrs ago with my mom and dad. We were always going to Hellas for our parties baptisms and weddings. All our holiday needs were easily available for us. Unfortunately, we moved out to Poplar Grove, Illinois near Belvedere and have missed them greatly. “What gets me is the speed. Friday night, line out the door, and the food still lands hot and fast. The guys behind the counter will walk you through the menu if it's your first time and actually recommend something instead of pointing at a number.

It's tight inside, so it shines as a takeout spot, but I've eaten in and been happy. Portions are generous, prices are genuinely reasonable, and there's no attempt to dress it up as something it isn't. It's just good food, done right, by people who care whether you come back.

I've had gyros in Greece. This is the closest thing to it I've found around here. Five stars, and it's now in the regular rotation.“

“Returned for the first time since 1985! Owner established that they’ve been there since 1978. Didn’t recognize anything but just wanted to bring home a Gyros and I did. Highly recommend it. Pita was perfect. Was still warm when I got home. Huge sandwich with an incredible amount of gyros and an awesome tzatziki sauce. Fresh tomatoes and onions—my mouth is watering 5 hours later writing this review. They’re still going strong after almost 50 years cause they’re friendly, consistent and serve great food!“

“I stumbled on this place as being new to the neighborhood. I found them on DoorDash a$12 Gyo meal. Every piece of meat had a different size cut and texture that I could appreciate. I knew that this meal was cut and made per order. The tzatziki sauce tasted homemade. The pita bread was soft and fresh. I received a $25 meal for $12. I will be coming back to try more.“

One of the appetizers gets presented lit on fire, and we got warm complimentary pita bread. I ordered grilled shrimp and chicken kebab and the lamb shank, both yummy. That may be the norm in O'hare, I'm not sure, but it seemed high. If i find myself in Teminal 2 with time to burn again, i'd try one of the larger chain restaurants. *Lots of reviews mention the fries, and that is true. I didn't even know that the chicken pita even came with fries, but evenly it did, and there were a lot of hot fresh really tasty fries included in the bag. I probably shouldn't have, but definitely did eat them all. The fries were great.“

“Hub’s always has great food they never disappoint me however the staff could be a little nicer I was picking up my order the lady at the front notice there was no ranch sauce in my order so she’s yelling at her own staff to include a ranch sauce which I didn’t like treat your staff nicer and with respect“
