“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“Walker Bro's was closed so on a whim, I changed the cuisine to Greek and was recommended Taverna Naxos; a hop, skip and a jump away. Walked in blind to any expectations and immediately was stunned by the ambiance, esthetics and cleanliness of the restaurant! I was the only patron and confused if they were even open. Michael, assured me that they were and gave me carte blanche on seating. The chef personally handed me a plate of bread and hummus and the flavor profile knocked my world off balance! When the Tzatziki & Kedfeh (Greek meatballs) arrived, my world stopped spinning in orbit. Each ingredient tasted as if it was hand selected earlier in the day!

The bathrooms were immaculate. The menu & specials looked as if they had just been taken out for their maiden voyage! This has got to be a date night hot spot, if it's not, do it!

I'm curious if they bring the ruckus under pressure of a full house but by look of it, they mean serious Greek business! Thank you, Michael, Head Chef & Taverna Naxos staff for altering my mood with the experience!“

“Very good for quick quality service. The portions are extremely abundant, you definitely won’t be hungry. I like how they specify on their menu which type of oil that is used. The gyros meat tends to be a bit too salty, but this is probably how it just is.“

All our holiday needs were easily available for us. Unfortunately, we moved out to Poplar Grove, Illinois near Belvedere and have missed them greatly. “I just had the best gyro of my life at Gyro Guys! From the first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The gyro was completely full of meat and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This gyro was a real nuke it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The pita was soft and fresh, and the tzatziki sauce was creamy and tangy, complementing the gyro perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is known as Chef Zuzu, he told me they recently opened up and seems like a great, honest, and hardworking business owner. If you’re looking for an amazing gyro, look no further. This place is fire!! AND THEY OFFERING BUY ONE GET ONE FREE SO I GOT 2 AMAZING GYROS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!!!!!! “OMG! I've been trying to find a a place with good gyros for a decent price. So far this place is best place in the area, but only because of what I'm able to afford. Used UberEats at a discounted rate. A gyro (sauce on the side) with, curly fries, a cup of cheese, and a medium drink for $20 with the tip included. So far the best value for my buck and it all tasted excellent. I recommend Brandy's to any gyro lover visiting the area.“

“If you're looking for FRESH food and not from a package out of the deep freezer than this is the place to grab you a HOT, FRESH breakfast!
My favorite item for breakfast is the Breakfast plate. It contains two eggs made your way, bacon (4 stripes) , or sausage, red quarter cut potatoes sautéed, and two pieces of toast. Price is about $13 and some change. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

I also love to order their breakfast sandwhich. Select either bacon or sausage, egg made your way, and cheese.

Also, if you order a buttery toasty grilled cheese sandwich it automatically comes with French fries!!!
Again, TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

The food is pretty average, but there’s something nostalgic and comforting about this place. Service was good, atmosphere felt familiar, and overall we enjoyed our visit.
