“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“My husband and I came in tonight for 4 flights for our family. The place smelled amazing, the staff was welcoming and friendly. We waited a little bit for our food, but it was certainly worth the wait!!! My whole family loved it, even my pickiest!!! It was the best food, for a very decent price, that we have had in a long time!“

“Walker Bro's was closed so on a whim, I changed the cuisine to Greek and was recommended Taverna Naxos; a hop, skip and a jump away. Walked in blind to any expectations and immediately was stunned by the ambiance, esthetics and cleanliness of the restaurant! I was the only patron and confused if they were even open. Michael, assured me that they were and gave me carte blanche on seating. The chef personally handed me a plate of bread and hummus and the flavor profile knocked my world off balance! When the Tzatziki & Kedfeh (Greek meatballs) arrived, my world stopped spinning in orbit. Each ingredient tasted as if it was hand selected earlier in the day!

The bathrooms were immaculate. The menu & specials looked as if they had just been taken out for their maiden voyage! This has got to be a date night hot spot, if it's not, do it!

I'm curious if they bring the ruckus under pressure of a full house but by look of it, they mean serious Greek business! Thank you, Michael, Head Chef & Taverna Naxos staff for altering my mood with the experience!“

The gyro was completely full of meat and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This gyro was a real nuke it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The pita was soft and fresh, and the tzatziki sauce was creamy and tangy, complementing the gyro perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is known as Chef Zuzu, he told me they recently opened up and seems like a great, honest, and hardworking business owner. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. “So I have been eating here for Years, and the food is fresh and well done, I normally get a pork souvlaki and saganaki and the Greek potatoes are amazing. The owners are dedicated and super nice and you can byob to the patio in the summer. To us it is a staple of 3 to 4 times a month, fresh food, very good seasonings and great tzatziki ,super fresh pita as well. It is better than more of the larger restaurants in Greektown and not greasy like many storefronts that do Gyros.“

Used UberEats at a discounted rate. A gyro (sauce on the side) with, curly fries, a cup of cheese, and a medium drink for $20 with the tip included. So far the best value for my buck and it all tasted excellent. I recommend Brandy's to any gyro lover visiting the area.“
