I love this place, the food and atmosphere! I just wish their plate portions were bigger for what you are paying...
First day in Chicago and after a long roadtrip we wanted to eat something familiar and as Greeks..Taxim was the first restaurant that popped near our renting area. The food was DELICIOUS.. authentic tastes, we got the Prassopita, haloumi , souvlakia and Kokoretsi pair with some greek FIX beers. The atmosphere on the terrace was beautiful, the smell of roasting meets made everything feel like you are in a cute restaurant somewhere in a village in Greece. One of the more creative restaurants downtown-went for an event and everything was so well made and different that the entire table was passing dishes around. Prices are a little steep for serving size, but it’s worth it
