We had a lovely dinner at Central Gyros this evening. Normally we get gyros or ribs to go (always delicious) but today we tried something different. We had a gyros wrap, gyros salad, hummus, Greek potatoes and DESSERT! Everything was perfect! Our waitress was the sweetest and very attentive!!!
My wife and I ordered delivery here, and I'll have you know this is some of the BEST Greek food I've had in Chicago! In my opinion, Central Gyros can compete with any Greek spot you can think of in the Chicagoland Area. The food is that good!Also, super super great staff and even the delivery driver had been very kind and friendly! Hands down 10 out of 10.

Excellent Greek and Chicago specialties. We started with Saganaki (flaming Greek cheese), they used to flamblé at table side, now they flamblé near the table and when it goes put they serve it. We also had calamari (kalamari). I strayed from the Greek traditional dishes and tried the fried smelts; if you grew up in the midwest, you might have tried smelts, and Central Gyros served them exactly as I remember my mother did.
