“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

“I went to dinner here with friends last night. I used to live in The Glen, and since I still live only about ten minutes away, I have been coming here regularly for more than ten years.
Everything was great, but the ribeye I ordered medium came out well-done. I sent it back, and the manager, Kaitlyn, came over, apologized, and had it remade. Unfortunately, the second steak was also not cooked to the correct temperature. I honestly felt bad and was willing to just eat it, even though it was not my fault, but Kaitlyn insisted on having it made again correctly.
I was truly impressed by the service. Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how a restaurant responds and makes an effort to take care of its guests. Kaitlyn handled the situation professionally and genuinely wanted to make sure I was satisfied.
A special thank-you to Kaitlyn and our server, Sara, for their outstanding service. I have been coming here for over ten years, but I do not think I have ever been this impressed by the level of care and hospitality. Truly excellent service.“

“Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Glenview. Even if you are unfamiliar with Korean food there is something to like for everyone. Service is fast, the food is fantastic and consistent and the prices are extremely fair. The atmosphere is also unmatched with karaoke booths or private self cook tables alike. Can’t wait to return.“

“We have been going to Chinatown Kitchen since their kids were little and now they are in college. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Takeout area always clean and you can see an area of kitchen same way. We have certain preferences that we do not want put into the food and we are very happy the results and the tastes. Have on occasion, friends, tried other places, but always went back to Chinatown Kitchen. Like a good marriage why go somewhere else if you are happy there?!!!!!“

“I had never heard of this chain before. I love it. I especially loved their lunch pizza made with.. what is it.. puff pastry-ish crust! Amazing. They have lots of unique baked goods, take and go style items, unique drinks and other offerings. A colorful array of visual delights to boggle the mind and tempt the tastebuds. Perfect any time. Lots of seating and easy to find parking.“
