I’m not surprised at all that their holiday special offerings sell out so quickly – – This is a special kind of bakery – – not too refined as to only have the sweetest and most delicate of desserts – – but more of a chefs kind of place – – you know the ingredients are going to be the finest out there. My only quibble is the inflexibility with the vegetarian sandwiches in their refrigerator – – the staff would not make me a fresh sandwich. But this is a minor quibble. I really do recommend them without reservation.“

“I'll give them 4 stars, because they don't have espresso like a normal coffee shop. Some of the drinks are good, they have a mint one that I feel is ok. I think it was called the mint mojito. The service is generally fast, people are helpful. Answers my questions, etc.“

“Tasty, fresh, authentic alternative to the offerings along the Noyes Street mini restaurant row. The Bibimbop wasn't the big bowl I was expecting but it was prettily assembled and well prepared. The bite-sized mandu with a sweet soy dipping sauce were very tasty indeed. Would return to try other Korean offerings.“

The food is ALWAYS amazing and the service is phenomenal.
We've never had anything less than an amazing experience.
Jesus has been our server of choice for many years however everyone is as friendly and efficient! Our daughter was a student at NU so anytime we were in town, we had breakfast at LePeep. Sadly she has graduated and now we go when we make it in town!“

I've been to 'em all on the north side - Lerner's, the Ranch,' the Pit, Sammy Skobel's, Wolfy's, Fluky's, Dear Franks', Michaels, Stashes, Mutt and Jeff's, Shmendels, and all of the Irvings. ALL of them. Little Island stands right up there. What they do have that is the best in Cook County are their fries. Best ever. They don't travel well, so have them there. Grilled polish is outstanding. And NEVER, EVER, EVER order a dog or a Polishj with anything red - ketchup OR tomato. Two stars for atmosphere - if that's important to you, go to Portillo's.“

It is a Mexican spot so getting a burger was sorta strange but once I read the beef was mixed with Chorizo I was sold and just had to try it. It didn’t disappoint. “With all the unhealthy junk food out there, it’s always a great day when you find something that’s both healthy and tasty, and affordable! The owners were very friendly, everything was clean inside, and the service was quick. I got the Paneer Fig sandwich and my GF got the Indonesian Ginger BBQ sandwich with chicken, and we both loved it. You also get the option to make it spicy or not. I’d say I have a higher than average heat tolerance, and I asked for spicy but IMO it wasn’t spicy at all. Not a big deal, but if you’re worried it’ll be too hot, it wont be. You also get to choose between chips and coleslaw, we both got the coleslaw and that was just okay. I’d rather try whatever chips they have available next time. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you can make it during there unfortunately very limited hours from 11am-2pm.“
