“oh my gosh, Hewn is so cool – – such inventive and hearty and wholesome and beautiful flavor combinations – – I especially love what they do with fruit and nuts. I’m not surprised at all that their holiday special offerings sell out so quickly – – This is a special kind of bakery – – not too refined as to only have the sweetest and most delicate of desserts – – but more of a chefs kind of place – – you know the ingredients are going to be the finest out there. My only quibble is the inflexibility with the vegetarian sandwiches in their refrigerator – – the staff would not make me a fresh sandwich. But this is a minor quibble. I really do recommend them without reservation.“

“Coming here feels like a little piece of Venezuela. The cachitos, the pastries, the coffee… everything tastes like home. You can tell it’s made with care and real flavor, not shortcuts. The vibe is warm, people are friendly, and it just hits that nostalgia in the best way. If you’re Venezuelan, you’ll get it right away. If you’re not, you’re still going to love it.“

“My team member Mary gifted me with some bagels along with the honey vanilla and strawberry spread and I literally couldn’t stop eating the bagels and spread. They were delicious! I can’t wait to grab more!!!!“

“We worked with Sweet Temptations to create our dream wedding cake and WOW is this team impressive. Looking back at our wedding photos, it is truly impossible to tell the difference between the inspiration photo sent and the cake delivered to our venue. It was GORGEOUS! In addition, the flavor was out of this world. They even sent a custom box to package our top tier for easy transportation after the reception. “Overall, an excellent experience. The quality of the food is great, and prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff is friendly and professional, which really adds to the experience.
Parking is available but paid, so it’s something to factor into the overall cost unless you’re willing to park farther away. It was also a bit noisy, so I wouldn’t choose it as a study spot, although it’s clearly popular with students.
All in all, a solid place for good coffee and baked goods, and I’d happily return.“

“Awesome bakery. However the prices don’t always correspond with the serving size. I purchased a cheesecake square smaller than the palm of my hand and it was $5.45. Literally took 2 bites. Portion sizes are too small for the price“
