“My best friend and I had this place for the first time this morning and it was delicious!!! And the price for everything made it 10x better. The bagels were fresh and warm and the cream cheese was to die for! I originally ordered a cheddar bagel but they were out of that so I just got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and my friend got the egg bagel with plain cream cheese as well. This place was definitely a hidden gem I used to live not even a block away from this location and never knew about it. Now want their bagels everyday! Lol“
“It s so hard to find romanian food in USA so I was so happy to find this place! Everything is great, the selection/variety, the products and the people!!Everything was so fresh, you could see the bags steaming and everybody was working hard in the back!Besides sweets and savory salty snacks (mainly) they also have a small variety of cooked food!The people working there were soo nice and chatty!Will be back from Tennessee with any occasion and even just for this place, totally recommend it if you miss home or just if you want to try some homemade romanian delicacies!“
“I went yesterday when visiting Chicago. I had never had it before but I went by the recommendations of Skokie residents and I was very impressed. I took 6 desserts home to Kentucky and my only regret is I didn’t take more oatmeal raisin cookies. Those were absolutely phenomenal.“

“I'm not Romanian, and I have no connection to Eastern European food whatsoever. Transylvania Kitchen knocked it out of the park. I learned of Ciorba de Burta (tripe soup) doing travel research and I couldn't find any to try in Chicago. Tangy and hearty, this is worth the drive. The staff was friendly, even though they seemed to not necessarily know what baked goods they had in stock. Regardless I have full confidence that anything available is delicious and made with care.“
“My wife and I picked up four different cupcakes. Their staff were very patient and nice. We ate three of them quickly, and the four one was still fresh three days later. We can't go there that often for two reasons - these cupcakes are very good and very sweet, and they are too expensive.“
