“I ordered a dozen bundtini's for a New Year's Eve event. When I got there the box was sealed so I never thought that needed to look and verify that what I ordered and paid for was actually in the box, but yes, I should have. When we opened the box later that night instead of a dozen there were only eleven (11). I called the store after the New Year informing them of this error, but all I got was "sorry"! The store itself is clean, and was nicely laid out. As per my guest, the bundtini's were delicious. But I did not get what I paid for and disappointed by the response received. I was going to let it go, but customers need to be made aware.“
“Just incredible. There are no words for how impressive this bakery is. The owner is an absolute angel, the desserts are insanely delicious and the aesthetic is perfect. This is my go to for any special occasions. I even have non vegan friends/family that request Pie Pie for their birthdays. I cannot recommend supporting this business enough. My personal favorite flavors are banana split, chocolate strawberry, and nutter butter.“
“I was parking and saw a crowd of people hovering around a storefront like they were waiting for doors to open for the Nordstrom Semi Annual Sale! Thus, I had to walk over and see what all the fuss was about. Tons of people were waiting outside in the cold for pastries. I looked at the menu on the window and noticed all the pastries are gluten free and they have a large selection of vegan options! There were so many vegan options that I bared the cold trying to make a decision. I settled on the vegan brownie. The staff were all friendly and processed orders quickly. While walking, I tasted a piece of the vegan brownie. It was simply, AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back and try other vegan pastry options.“
“Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL and SCRUMPTIOUS! It looked and tasted EXACTLY like I wanted it to! It was minimally decorated with a beautiful, rustic look. I just loved the buttery cake and the fluffy icing. It was rich and moist and buttery and not too sweet! Yum yum yum! We have about 12 slices in the freezer and I eat one every day. “Me, my fiancé and our friend came here to check it out on a rainy day and super glad we did! The three workers who helped us were super chill and made it a very comfortable experience. “This place has good treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth. We picked up a couple different things that were decent and one that was awesome! The Banana Carmel Cabinet pudding I can't say enough good about! It's a very moist and tasty cupcake/bread pudding combination essentially. It's a yellow cake with banana slices, banana pudding, and caramel topping that is pretty epic! The cookie we got was good, one dessert magic cookie bar that good, a lemon bar that was ok...I didn't care for it but my wife thought it was ok, and the banana Carmel cabinet pudding was awesome. Give them a try and I think you'll find something that you like for sure...and they are very very nice when it comes to customer service so that's good a big plus.“

“Where do I start on my journey to this "schweet" treat? It all started a few months ago of seeing this business online ...I could not manage to get the time right I was too late or to early or it was closed....But finally the stars ALIGNED and on Saturday I pulled up at 10:30am waiting for the 11am opening...to buy six amazing, delicious and delightful moo-moo cheesecakes (2 keylimes 3 pecan delight and 1 strawberry)...a bowl of chili and a candle ..!I met one of the owners who went above and beyond in customer service, she was kind, patient and efficient she didn't let me wait for the chili ,which I appreciated.The strawberry was the tester cheesecake which both my mother and daughter had a sample of we all loved and enjoyed this cheesecake especially my self which I put the remaining into the freezer to get cold quick ( best decision) to eat in the dark sitting at the kitchen table savoring the freshness the sweet tartness of the strawberries the sweet smoothness of the cheesecake the buttery graham crust slightly sweet whipped cream omg...I will be coming back for more soon..another reason why to support this amazing business is they help alot and give back to the community, they offer their shop for events."There the Cheesecake People".“
“We had the BEST time at Punky Cake yesterday. My daughters and I took the cake decorating class and had so much fun and learned so much from Ashely! Ashley has such an amazing energy and taught us all the steps and techniques needed to make a double layer 8” rainbow cake! The experience was so fun we can’t wait to go back for another class! We were able enjoy eating the cake with our family and we are pretty picky about cakes and we ALL raved about the flavor and how it wasn’t too sweet and heavy. Jorge(the owner) suggested few changes and it worked in our favor. He customized it with edible gold leafs. I highly recommend them and will definitely order from them next time. With that said, the selection can feel a bit limited, and I'd love to see them occasionally shake up the menu so there is less ingredient crossover - though what they have is quite unique. “So glad I stopped here on my way to the Navy Pier. I have a mean sweet tooth, and this place definitely caught my eye. I love the decor and bright, welcoming atmosphere. Also it's really neat that a lot of the area is school-themed (desk seats, a pencil sharpener on one of the pillars still, etc). And the cupcakes, of course, it was amazing they have a create your own option, which I was tempted to get especially with a mini size available, but then I saw the creme brulee cupcake, and even though it was a regular portion, I knew I had to try it. It was delicious- the right amount of sweet, and the cupcake itself, while heavy, was still really moist and packed with flavor. I would definitely return to try some more flavors. Staff was nice and friendly too.“

“My son’s birthday party was reptile themed and he picked out a cake he saw on the web with a snake on top. I called around local bakeries and none quoted me as reasonably as ST did. He also wanted all choc cake and filling, which I worried would be an overload and too sweet from past experiences. The bakery was able to do it in just a few days notice and it turned out even BETTER looking than the one we provided as the idea. They took the time to put more details than the photo and the snake on top was truly a great work of art. The inside was moist and delicious, I was so pleased that they didn’t overdo the chocolate and made it rich and creamy rather than too much after a slice. Everyone had seconds and it was a hit. Hats off to the decorators who knew exactly how to make it right!“
“My wife and I picked up four different cupcakes. Their staff were very patient and nice. We ate three of them quickly, and the four one was still fresh three days later. We can't go there that often for two reasons - these cupcakes are very good and very sweet, and they are too expensive.“
