I went yesterday when visiting Chicago. I had never had it before but I went by the recommendations of Skokie residents and I was very impressed. I took 6 desserts home to Kentucky and my only regret is I didn’t take more oatmeal raisin cookies. Those were absolutely phenomenal.
The only thing I regret is not buying more croissants!
They are perfectly flakey but so soft with my perfect amount of fluffy chew on the inside.
Overall, amazing selection and delicious coffee. I got a large so I would have some left to go with my second round of pastries later in the day.
What I like most is their pastries and cookies have a lot of flavor but are not overly sweet- fabulously balanced.
