Found this great little neighborhood bar by accident - - and now we try to stop in as often as we can when we're up this way! Friendly bartenders AND regulars will make you feel right at home here (especially if you toss a few good songs on the jukebox!)! Cheers!
Stopped in the first day of the suburban bars being open to meet up with old friends and Lynda who must be Skokie’s friendliest bartender. Had a great time. Matter of fact went back two days later. Beer and whisky specials everyday.

It is what it is, a neighborhood watering hole "where everybody knows your name." Divey? I'd rather describe this come-as-you-are joint as "down to earth." Neither trendy nor upscale, it nonetheless feels as familiar and comfortable as a well-worn easy chair. When we visited, the bar was populated with Generation X-ers and Millennials.
