Kneads and Wants has delicious breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and drinks. Plus, the staff are always very friendly and helpful. If I lived closer, I’d honestly be tempted to go everyday. Highly recommend!

Watching our special coffees being created, I knew I was in the right place. So cozy, great music, friendly and welcoming staff, and let's talk about the out-of-this-world food! Breakfast sandwiches so creatively prepared, pastries, scones...it was hard to decide on a few and not just buy it all! An absolute gem in downtown Skokie! I wish my village had a wonderful establishment like Kneads & Wants! Go! Eat! Go often!Wheelchair accessibility: Once in the door, there's a ramp to the counter and ordering/seating area. No obstructions at all.
I am thier window cleaner and let me tell you all.their pastries are all home made from scratch absolutely delicious and way more flavorful than anything I ever tried at Starbucks. Coffee is sensational!

I'm delighted to share my joy with Kneads & Wants bakery holiday pies. Our son & his girlfriend are regulars & surprised us with your 2 extraordinary holiday pies when they came home for Christmas. The Cranberry Chess Pie had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, creating a delightful burst of flavors with each bite. The Peanut Butter Pie was decadent with its rich chocolate and smooth peanut butter. The crusts were expertly crafted & so wonderfully flaky! Thanks to Kneads & Wants, one of my favorite Christmas gifts was the Ted Lasso biscuits! Truly hope you bring those back! We will be in for coffee & pastries next time we’re in Skokie!

Great coffee and drinks, great baked goods. My niece absolutely loved everything she tried from here. I have to say the desserts are delicious. From the cookies to the blondies and brownies to the kouign-amann the texture and taste were all on point!It's a cute little shop with a handful of tables and chairs. Definitely recommend stopping by for a quick caffeinated drink or something sweet. There's street parking and also a small parking lot a quick walk away.Staff was friendly and efficient!

Super excited to try tge doughnuts here last Sunday but they only have doughnuts once a year? Not a lot of options in the case especially for my kids. only one table in the place on a Sunday at 10:30 am. I knead and wsnt doughnuts from a bakery on the weekend.
Great bakery. Not for breads, but for sweets or savory. Great coffee as well. Staff is nice. The little bundt cakes are dry. The scones are also dry. The croissants are what they are known for and are worth the trip. I didn't sample any savory items. The chocolate cookie is oustanding.

This place is like a warm hug - the staff was friendly, the artwork is inclusive, and the overall vibes made this little café stand out.I ordered the "I'm Your Seoulmate" sandwich with an iced chai tea latte. I'm no food/drink connoisseur, but everything was delicious! The trip here is worth it for the food/drinks, but even more-so for the vibes.
