“We drove from Genoa City Wisconsin because we heard how delicious everything was. We were NOT disappointed. The meat on our sandwiches, one corned beef and one pastrami, was piled high! Homemade brined pickles and bakery items exceeded our expectations. Worth the drive and we will be back.“

“The kitchen is not operational on Sunday, so if you want to see it staffed come during the week. We made Carmel/Chocolate coated apples, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered Oreo cookies, and mixed the ingredients to make a chocolate bar. All is included with your tour purchase. The prices for any other chocolate or candies you purchase was better than most bigger name stores. This is a small shop but their quality is very good!“

“I had mixed feelings about my visit to Port of Peri Peri. The food was honestly excellent and full of flavor, so I have no complaints about the quality of the meal itself.

However, the customer service really let the experience down. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and when I asked questions, they either didn't respond properly or didn't seem interested in helping. The dining area also looked like it needed more attention—several tables were greasy and didn't appear to be cleaned promptly, which made eating in feel a bit unhygienic.

If you're planning to try this place, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in. You thought you've had it all, that Chicago couldn't possibly have yet ANOTHER banger in Wicker Park, but i'll be damned, here we are. The cracklin' shrimp is so well done, I would eat a bowl of it. “I recently was visiting Chicago and as a habit, I searched for Best Gluten Free bakery and discovered Defloured. What an amazing place. As a Celiac, finding good GF baked goods is rare to find. Wow what a selection. I purchased a chocolate cupcake, two love pucks, cinnamon rolls, poppy lemon bread, baguette, and aNutella sandwich cookie. Everything was really delicious. I mean world class quality. I now plan on making regular visits to Chicago so I can load up and fill my freezer with possibly the best GF baked goods in the U.S. I’ve tried a lot.“

This is the best bakery and cafe in the area, with a delightful and inventive menu (try the rad hash), caring vibe, and an extraordinary amount of care put into every aspect of the experience. Items that are a weak afterthought at other cafes, like a side salad, are consistently fresh and delicious here. I have eaten at many of the best known and instagrammed restaurants in Chicago and I would rather eat at SBK than anywhere else.“

“OH! Are you in for a TREAT when you dine here. The food is sensational. We have traveled all of the world and lived all over the United States. The cuisine here is unique and out of this world. The recipes are unique to this restaurant. We have eaten at other Ethiopian restaurants. They do not even register next to this one. The Proprietor is SOOOOO nice. And, ask him what brought him to the United States. It's an emotionally moving story. If you haven't had Ethiopian cuisine before, it is NOT scary. There are hardy vegetarian and meatatarian dishes. So, there's something for everyone. And, the dishes that are spicy are mild. So, don't worry about your sensitive belly. The meal is a SHARED experience. So, make sure you bring friends. They will thank you afterwards for sure☺“

When I finally walked the I was greeted by the nice and knowledgeable staff. My savory dish was the bacon brioche and it was phenomenal! Crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. My first sweet bite was the salted caramel brown butter blondie brownie. It was delicious! They even let you choose a center or corner piece. My favorite pastry was the banana pudding croissant, it was even better than I thought it would be. I also got the basque cheesecake which was well prepared but the time I went they had peanut butter on it which I’m not a fan of. But I’m willing to try it again when they have a different flavor. “We ate lunch at Michael Jordan’s Steak House in Chicago today. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the hostess helped us with our parking situation. Our server was friendly and quick. “Always loved their Greek pastries, they are the best, started going to them 60 yrs ago with my mom and dad. We were always going to Hellas for our parties baptisms and weddings. All our holiday needs were easily available for us. Unfortunately, we moved out to Poplar Grove, Illinois near Belvedere and have missed them greatly. Always love them and it brings a tears to my eyes, that they are still around. God bless them. My parents knew the owners personally.“

“Where do I start… service 100 percent professional and helpful, knowledgeable about wine pairings, food was the best from start to finish. Me and my wife go to a steakhouse in every city we visit and let me tell you it’s hard to nail all aspects of dining,apps, mains, dessert, and wine, but RPM blew me away! This is my #1 steakhouse I have visited in the world…I have been to 30 plus states, 15 countries and nothing has come close to this experience.“

“I had heard Monti's was the best place to get a Philly in Chicago, and since I've been craving one lately, I had to give it a try. I can honestly say it's the best Philly I've had in Chicago and the surrounding areas. It definitely did not disappoint.
I ordered mine with extra mayo and white American cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, the service was great, and the whole experience lived up to the hype. I highly recommend giving Monti's a try if you're looking for an authentic Philly cheesesteak!“
