The service was good! They were nice and very helpful with guiding you where drinks, napkins, and utensils were without you asking. It was helpful. I ordered a criossant, carrot cake, and a coffee. Criossant was on the crunchy side inside and out. If you like that then that's it, but for me, I prefer a crunchy from outside and soft on inside, but not bad. Are you looking for Chicago's best canelé? Canelés are custardy, vanilla scented French pastries. They're made in a fluted mold that has been brushed with beeswax. They're crispy on the outside and moist inside. They're my favorite!
