Dirk's Fish has some of the freshest seafood I've ever had (and I'm from California). Dirk makes awesome sushi and tuna poke. Actually all the prepared food is great. The best part is that they follow the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch so you know that all the seafood there comes from sustainable and environmentally safe practices.
This place is a haven for fresh and sustainably caught seafood in the Midwest! I have yet to taste something of Dirk's that hasn't blown my socks off - and this is coming from a seafood snob.
Best fish I have found in Chicago. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who always have fantastic ideas on fish preparation.
