new favorite cafe!! love everything about this place, from the staff to the pastries and coffee. the girl that took my order was so sweet and when i was leaving another worker even gave me a free canele! i got the iced lavender latte with oat milk, my first time trying a lavender latte and it was so good! if you like the flavor of tea, you will love it. i also got an artichoke and cheese pastry (unfortunately forgot the name...), a nice portion of tasty artichoke and warm flakiness that made me want more. theres a small nice seating area on the main floor and i spent an hour getting some work done, there isnt much noice or chaos so its a good place to relax or bring some friends. as i was leaving, i took two passionfruit tarts for my family to try. i will say though the pastries are a bit pricey but the pretty presentations and ingredients make it worth it i think, especially if youre just treating yourself to something good. also consider parking because most of the spots around the area are full!

The food and staff are top notch. Love seeing what new items they have each weekend. Go in for a coffee or tea and keep an open mind to a breakfast sandwich and whatever sweet they have.

The service was good! They were nice and very helpful with guiding you where drinks, napkins, and utensils were without you asking. It was helpful. I ordered a criossant, carrot cake, and a coffee. Criossant was on the crunchy side inside and out. If you like that then that's it, but for me, I prefer a crunchy from outside and soft on inside, but not bad. Drink was a vanilla latte, and it was good because it was not too sweet. The carrot cake, the presentation was nice! Taste of the cake could've been better, but the cream of the cake made it worth having! Lastly, I want to say this definitely is a great spot for a date quiet enough to talk without too loud and music level perfect! :) I'd return to try other pastries and drinks next time!

Are you looking for Chicago's best canelé? Canelés are custardy, vanilla scented French pastries. They're made in a fluted mold that has been brushed with beeswax. They're crispy on the outside and moist inside. They're my favorite! Not all canelés are created equal, and I found Chicago's best canelé at Floriole Cafe & Bakery.Floriole Cafe & Bakery1220 W Webster Ave, Chicago

We were highly impressed with Floriole! The passion fruit tart was everyone’s favorite. Their coffee was good too and had a lot of options. Was very busy so took a bit of time to get the food and drinks. But overall a good experience and staff was friendly!

Always a great experience going into floriole! The staff is nice, helpful and the food items are amazing! The pastry items are equally as amazing! If I lived closer this would be my neighborhood spot!

Loved this coffee shop today! Everything tasted fresh and the service was great for being a busy afternoon. The space is great and have plenty of seating. Loved the exposed brick upstairs and the decor. The coffee was also great.

Good coffee and even better pastries. It’s a little pricey but you wouldn’t find some of their food anywhere else in the city.

Frankly better than many of the Boulangeries that we frequented last month in Paris. The bread is phenomenal. Crusty outside, with great texture and flavour inside, but without being dry.The croissants have great flakiness..The lentil soup is lovely. The Parisian sandwich warm is terrific. They have a nice balance of ham, cheese, and bread.A fantastic piece of Paris in Lincoln Park.

Was excited to try this place after a lot of positive feedback from friends in the city, and left left mostly disappointed. The chai tea I got was very good, and is definitely something to recommend. It was a little small for being almost $6, but that's the way it goes in the city.My main course was a ham and cheese quiche, but something was off about it. There was an overwhelming sort of flavor to it. Kind of like The mouth feel you get when you over salt a dish. That same sort of presence come up, but it wasn't a salty flavor. Regardless, I did not enjoy it and only finished it because I was hungry and hungover and needed something in my stomach.Overall, just a little bit too expensive and not quite good enough to warrant trying to wade through the horrific traffic and parking situation.Parking: Restaurant is in a very busy part of Chicago, so parking can be a nightmare depending on when you go.

Floriole is amazing, their bakers are incredible, I am gluten free so there aren't a ton of options however the buckwheat scone and their special of the month, hazelnut chocolate pastry are to DIE for! They also have a special drink right now for valentines, it's a beetroot latte, I wish I could drink it everyday and hope they keep it on the menu permanently ❤️

Ever since French Quiche closed down, I've been looking for a cafe that can make a comparable quiche, and Floriole's is probably the closest I've found so far.
