This place ROCKS! People are friendly, the guy walking the floor is awesome, and the food is second to none. I wish there was one in the NW burbs so I could go more often. Oh, the watermelon tea, OMG!
Ok, this place should be packed all day everyday! Great little bluesy feeling place. All their food are on point! The pulled pork is just awesome. They smoke their meats to that perfect point, not to much...just right! Cornbread and greens are amazing, the peach cobbler is worth the trip alone. This BBQ place is a gem in Chicago, the brisket was tender, well sliced and neatly plated with the rest of the sides. The slaw was a nice free side that I need the recipe for, slaw gets a lot of hate but this was pretty good. Pleasantly surprised we found this place and will definitely go again.
