“This place has special fish Fry during lent. This is a cute irsh brunch spot normally. They had a lot of st paddy's day themed things but I passed. The good. Coffee with actual cream not the pre package junk. Great coffee service as well though it would be nice to add this to the waiting area. The staff was great aaa all the way. The omelets was good, fairly fluffy and a good balance of fillings. The average The pancakes were good not great. I may try some specialty cakes next time. The bad Well good place equals wait time on the weekend. Not sure if that was real maple syrup, if it was it was not the best. The side of potatoes while generous, had little to no flavor. Had to salt and pepper the heck out of them, and just left them in the end.“
“This place is a hidden gem. great food, great portions, great prices and great friendly staff. my roommate and my friend Heather told me about this place and I'm hooked and come here like 3 times a week to eat great breakfast and do homework. the prices are very affordable and I highly recommend this place. Yelp review 5 star.l ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Really good ice cream. Me and friends went here today since everything was closed and we thought this place would be mid. But, man this ice cream really is good. I would say it’s even on par with basking robins or prolly even way better than that. I would recommend the dark cherry and coconut scoops which was recommended to me by one of the employees. Also, I gotta say this is also the only place in Chicago that is very hospitable and service is amazing. The employees gave us many flavors to try before proceeding with our order.Vegetarian options: Vegan marshmallows“
“Foodwise, is truly a wonderful story, somebody in the kitchen knows what to do and that translates all the way to our braines stirring waves of good sensations.Their turkish culture habits, the hours limitation for certain types of food, do not always overlap with other's schedule or expectations. The staff is very polite and forthcoming but that's so much they can do.The atmosphere is a bit bizzare, the music for example, is not in tune with the specific, the way that the tables are set, suggests rather a train fare than a regular restaurant.Their sweets shop however, is there to take away all possible clouds and make your day.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“I love the owner & I truly enjoy their food. They make their restaurant very homey, & the food is immaculate to me! I enjoy their service & the loaded fries & the black bean bbq burger is awesome. I love that they have variety of vegan options! Keep it up guys!!!“
“My first time in Illinois, and we came across Francesca's randomly. The hospitality and food are both excellent! Kenny was a great server and all others who served us! My mom LOVING the Linguine and Clams is an understatement. She's obsessed! Unfortunately, I'm headed back to California now. Thanks for a great experience! Til next time!“
“Group of 4 for dinner, fabulous experience starting with Jeanette who got us seated and set up with menu and drinks. Very attentive service by the whole team. Great menu selection, well prepared and presented. Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for reading.“
“This place was AMAZING!!! The waitresses and waiters were extremely polite and helpful with anything you requested or asked. The Food was DELICIOUS!! I would highly recommend eating there and tasting their amazing Calamari and seafood soup!! Actually it may not have been soup but the juice of the meal which was Mussels with some vegetables in this phenomenal juices. They simply are creators of amazing flavors and Definitely worth the value of their meals. ?“
“Wow, this place is AMAZING? Great service, hopping atmosphere, and every single one of our dishes were delicious. We will be making this establishment a regular breakfast place during our Chicago visits! Food ordered was: Breakfast burrito Croissant Sandwich Buttermilk pancakes with a side of crispy bacon!“
“We have eaten here twice, once dine-in and later, take-out. The delivery was faster than they promised online, and the food was hot. I can say without qualification that I have never had better Thai in three decades of trying. The flavors in each dish are vibrant and sometimes surprising ... it's an experience I expect at a Michelin starred restaurant, but from takeout. Wtf.“
“It is great to find a vegan friendly restaurant so close to Elk Grove Village. Vegan shakes, chips, wraps, salads, desserts and cheesecake. Let me tell you what do the vegan chipotle in a spinach is my go to. Also great customer service.Vegetarian options: Clearly label vegan dishes“
“Our wedding cake turned out absolutely STUNNING and delicious. We received so many compliments on our cake because it was so good. It was definitely the best cake I've ever had. It was so fresh and turned out absolutely beautiful. They made the experience of designing our cake so easy and I trusted them throughout the whole process. Such a timeless design and the size was absolutely perfect. They exceeded our expectations and we will be going back for other goodies and may make it a tradition to order a cake for our wedding anniversaries. Highly recommend!! “
“Everything I have ever purchased from here has exceeded my expectations and when I bring donuts to work, everyone raves how good they are. Other than sub par chain donut places in the city, there are almost none that I know of in the NW side of Chicago that are as good as Deerfield's. I do not mind the drive bc I know Im getting the best donuts.“
“The best cheese cake I have ever had. Good place to stop if you need to bring dessert. So many flavors to choose from. I highly recommend Eli's. I can remember when Eli's restaurant was downtown on East Chicago Ave., We would have dinner and cheesecake for dessert. I always have one in the freezer, for unexpected guest. Peter K.“
“Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! They have lots of fun pancake options as well. Good meal options with lots to offer making it not that expensive!“
“Been many times. Keep coming back. Great waiter. Small kale and spinach salad. Can vary from time to time depending on when you go, i.e., kale not soft enough, not enough dressing, pepitas, etc. but this time..exquisite, salty, garlicky, lemony, texture of kale perfect. Entree-Branzino:light, flaky, flavorful, perfect preparation. Creamed spinach as it should be. So full. Birthday-took slice of flourless chocolate cake home complementary. Wonderful! Always go back here even when I say I want to try something else!“
“Awesome place, modern, cozy. Our 2 and 4 kids loooove to eat pasta and dine in. not just thay make pasta from scratch bit they are using organic chicken for our favorite pasta. pasta is usually done in 5/6 minute and portions are big. If you like Europian flavor for both interior and food this is right place for you!“
“We have always gone to Lou's in Lincolnwood, but had family in town and Buffalo Grove was closest for them. what a difference, place was huge and the parking lot was great. It will be our new location for sure. Service was just ok. It was a Friday night and busy so the staff was not very attentive but the good is great so we can deal with that“
“Where do I start on my journey to this "schweet" treat? It all started a few months ago of seeing this business online ...I could not manage to get the time right I was too late or to early or it was closed....But finally the stars ALIGNED and on Saturday I pulled up at 10:30am waiting for the 11am opening...to buy six amazing, delicious and delightful moo-moo cheesecakes (2 keylimes 3 pecan delight and 1 strawberry)...a bowl of chili and a candle ..!I met one of the owners who went above and beyond in customer service, she was kind, patient and efficient she didn't let me wait for the chili ,which I appreciated. The strawberry was the tester cheesecake which both my mother and daughter had a sample of we all loved and enjoyed this cheesecake especially my self which I put the remaining into the freezer to get cold quick ( best decision) to eat in the dark sitting at the kitchen table savoring the freshness the sweet tartness of the strawberries the sweet smoothness of the cheesecake the buttery graham crust slightly sweet whipped cream omg...I will be coming back for more soon..another reason why to support this amazing business is they help alot and give back to the community, they offer their shop for events."There the Cheesecake People".“
“It's Egg Harbor! Quality across locations is notoriously consistent. Good and interesting food selection, with stellar staples and a rotating menu of specials, plus periodic changes to their main menu.I have enjoyed Egg Harbor in other locations for decades and I have no complaints about this one. Staff is persistent cheery and imminently friendly. Food and ingredient quality is consistent and always on par with other quality brunch joints. You won't necessarily find the most experimental items in the world here, but they do push out some interesting specials.Prices aren't cheap, but always on per with restaurants of similar quality and actually have not increased as massively as others with inflation. They treat their staff notoriously well and I have personally seen a guy I like go from a busboy with low English competency to a floor manager. Gotta love that.Dietary restrictions: The staff is ready and quite willing to adjust menu items to accommodate any dietary restrictions they can. They aren't heavily focused on this and probably can't, for instance, guarantee they've eradicated all traces of gluten from most meals, but they are glad to do what they can with no stress.Parking: The parking lot is a bit of a pain to navigate due to its design, but you can park both in the front and back and you'll never find yourself lacking.Kid-friendliness: Egg Harbor is Notoriously kid friendly. I can't speak for kids who behave catastrophically poorly, but I went to another location for most of my childhood and they were both kind and accommodating.“
“Excellent choice for Restaurant week. You can't go wrong with the three course option or four. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. The spiced margarita was delicious. One suggestion- use Tajin instead of salt on the rim. This was our first time here. Looking forward to seeing the space during the summer. All of our guest enjoyed the night. See you soon.“
“Came here for a family member's birthday. The menu was updated and the food was very tasty with large portions. The atmosphere is energetic and fun. I would recommend more low-carb options but otherwise this place is fire ?. I got a healthy dinner regardless that was very tasty.“
“Let me start off this review by stating that i do not write reviews, never have and will not start to, BUTT this cafe is so underrated! I need everyone to understand how good their food and drinks are. Now just to clarify I know nothing about protein or calories but I do know a little something about GOOD FOOD. Ive been going to this location for over a year now and have had the opportunity to try their different menu items, Ive also had the pleasure to get to know one of their managers, Taylor. A very lovely woman, comfortable aura and I always have pleasant conversations with her. Moving on to their food and drinks, the first thing Ive ever tried was a regular chicken panini and my lord that first bite was immaculate. The way they stacked all the ingredients and panini pressed the sandwich bread makes eating it so much fun. ALSO they add apples...APPLESSS and guess what? its so fricking good, something about the sweet crisp taste of apple and the savory/salty meats and spice goes so well together. ugh 10/10. The next thing I got to try was their arroz caldo soup. It transported me back to 8 years old and it was one of those very unforgiving cold days, just coming back from school, opening the front door to the smell of your grandparent's or parent's caldo de res (latinos know) proceeding to have 2 and half bowls then knocking out. Yeah 9/10 good soup. Next was smoothies and Im not going into detail on the smoothies, they were very delicious and filled me up quite right, they were good size for the price and all are very different. The ones Ive tried were the power monkey (my favorite ughhh so good) the twenty 5 thirty 2 (very filling) and the super mario (somehow feels like im drinking some type of dessert and i love that). lovee 9.5/10. The last items Ive tried were the detox shots and oh boy.. Ive tried the good cocktail and the ginger shot. I didn't know that my bowels had the power to go into overdrive like that but they did. These shots for sure do what they claim to do and I love that I get exactly what I pay for. 9/10 but making sure to plan the day accordingly. The cafe is very chill and decorated nicely, clean and order to pickup time is quick (unless busy but dont be a douchebag and rush a masterpiece) I always go with my usual and its always so consistently delicious. Like I said earlier managers/employees are very welcoming and polite, even the boss will come and have a conversation with you and he is very nice and has jokes (funny guy over here). They also have another location in Wicker Park and it is also very nice, slightly bigger so there is more seating and has the same quality of food and drinks. And they do have more menu items so take a look. overall 9.5/10“
“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“
“What a fantastic place! Everything from beginning to end was perfect. We were a party of 10, which can lead to incorrect orders or some sort of fumbling of the orders. Not in this place buddy! A Swiss watch can learn precision from these guys. The coffee was always filled, the food was perfectly prepared to everyone's own personal taste (we NY people are notorious). Standing ovation to the staff. Obviously, the food would be great! I can't wait for next time I'm back in town!Dietary restrictions: Seafood allergies and nut allergiesParking: Plenty of parking, super easy.Kid-friendliness: Choices galoreWheelchair accessibility: Ramped entrance and Rolling space between tables is ample.“
“The food was really delicious and it is a big plus being able to get healthy, vegan choices that taste good. Everything we had was amazing!! I so recommend it if you want to eat healthy or just introduce yourself to healthy choices. Our server also was so nice!“
“Visited this PBK location for the first time today. It was pristine and bright inside. All three of the staff members were equally cheery and kind. Maddie, in particular, was phenomenal!! She helped customize my order and with genuine joy, too! Will be returning for sure!!!“
“Great place for breakfast !- Ordered the Omega Skillet- Good ambiance.- Big portions and tasty food compared to the small price.- Big pastries variety at the entrance counter.- Can accommodate big groups too.- The staff came to our table often for the refills or to clear the table.- They serve a shortcake at the beginning of the service instead of bread like any other restaurant. (Big plus)“
“I love their health shots, juices, and juice cleanse! I grab their health shots about 2-3 times a week, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my health. I also just completed their green cleanse for the 3rd time over the past 2 years. Highly recommend their cleanse for anyone looking to rejuvenate, build immunity, and replenish the body!“
“Excellent service and sushi!! They served 22+ of us and were on top of it! Drinks, many different menu items and never missed a beat. Delicious sushi, sashimi and cooked items along great portion sizes. Awesome place and definitely returning!“
“Our server was very attentive. We always love coming here for lunch. One of the bus boys spilled a glass of water on me. He did not handle it great and barely apologized. The maitre d saw what happened and right away asked if we were ok and offered to comp our lunch, seeing how I was pretty drenched. It was super nice and exactly how I would have expected it handled. She was great. I know accidents happen but it was just too bad the bus boy didn't seem apologetic. We will of course be returning!“
“Met a friend for breakfast & conversation. Comfortable, sunny dining room and friendly service. All the usual egg dishes, with some fun twists, and a dandy assortment of avocado toast options. Very conversation-friendly!Parking: Parking lot surrounds Egg Harbor and their immediate neighbors, plus street parking in the same block is also OK.“
“Had dinner here with my best friend. It was on St.Pattys weekend so the place was completely packed. The hostess may have been overwhelmed and not the friendliest, however our waitress was absolutely amazing. She gave great food recommendations and despite being super busy, she was on point with her service. Food and drinks were delicious. Will be planning girls night here soon, but maybe not on a holiday or major sports day.“
“Too good....my all-time favorite restaurant...food is delicious..authentic Chinese flavor...but their chang's special spicy chicken was not at all spricy..it was more like orange or pineapple chicken..i tried their kung pao chicken before..that was much more better for those who loves spicy food..ambiance and the service was great..overall great experience..“
“It was my first time here, but I had heard a lot about this establishment. Excellent service, recommendations on choosing cakes or pastries. While I was here, I noticed that a lot of regular people came. The atmosphere here is warm. Choice of coffee ☕️ or tea ☕️ - milk or cream. You can also pre-order for a specific date.Parking: We parked without any problems and were able to visit this wonderful place“
“These days I'm not sure a bakery can really deliver everything one'd hope for in the past. Lezza has a great variety of bakery products, and you'll find some of them to be very reasonably priced. I love the lemon knot cookies and the Italian ice, and you'll find traditional cookies here too as well as danishes and donuts. There are very few independently owned places anymore with variety and low-cost options for treats and coffee, but this is one of them!“
“Great family, great food, always fresh, kind customer service and it is a clean facility. I love that it is so local to me. I am so very excited about the large location they have opened across the street. I'm happy for the family and happy for my tummy. I hope to spend many years in and out of that bakery/deli making excellent memories with my friend and family. Keep up the hard but amazing work. I stand with your company. Thank you for your service to our area.“
“From the service to the food, top tier! Not only is the surrounding area cute, but the inside of the restaurant is too! Sunday morning, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was wonderful and packed with flavor. It came freshly made and quick. The server checked in at the appropriate intervals and even brought napkins half way through without us asking. We enjoyed ourselves and our food. Also, the London Fog was by far the best I’ve ever had.“
“Service is excellent and will return they have live music on a Thursday, pizza was delicious.Vegetarian options: Veggies pizza and saladsParking: IT’s hugeKid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking and entrance and space inside was great“
“Love, love, love this bakery! Some of the best stuff here are the bars: lemon bar, pecan bar, and my desert island (dessert island :) pick, the "Congo bar". Roasted macadamia nuts on a bittersweet chocolate layer, all on top of a buttery graham cracker crust, with some coconuts thrown in -- oh, my! Glad I don't live nearer to this bakery or I would weigh 300 lbs. already.“
“The food is sometimes great and sometimes you order a Benedict and get medium (closer to hard) yolks in the poached eggs and curdled hollandaise sauce like I got last Tuesday. When it's good, I'm a fan. But of the last 5 times I went, 3 we're good and 2 were bad. Also, if you are a tea drinker, don't order the hot tea. They bring it loose leaf with no way to remove the tea so it is already really over steeped before it even gets to the table and by the time you have it in your cup it's mostly tannins. When it's done right the province Benedict is delicious.Vegetarian options: The province Benedict is avacado, wild mushrooms, and tomatoes smothered in hollandaise on a flaky croissant. Not vegan, but a delicious vegetarian breakfast.“
“Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.“
“Busy, but quiet little restaurant. Bread was served hot. There was oil, parmigiana cheese, butter, salt and pepper for the bread. Sausage and pepper appetizer was full of flavor. Soup was good. Chicken parmigiana and chicken linguini alfredo were fantastic. I left the restaurant wishing there was more pasta. Not that there wasn’t enough on the plate to begin with, I just wanted more.“
“Our meal last night was excellent..... I may be a bit biased as I have been eating their pizza since the mid 1960's : ) But last night was not an exercise in nostalgia - it's still the best pizza anywhere.Anyway we were thrilled to celebrate our wedding anniversary there! Thanks again for another fine meal...“
“Awesome place for fresh bread. Some of our favorites: sourdough, gluten-free, and lots of other varieties.Unique tea in bulk: rose, hibiscus, German chamomile,...Spices, flours, and grains in bulk, both organic and conventional.Sheep cream cheese, even garlic flavored... Love their beet salad with horseradish.“
“I ordered through Uber eats and let me tell you, SO GOOD. I ordered a breakfast burrito but added special instructions for everything to be on the side because I wanted to assemble my own burrito. I ordered it this way because they only had one type of breakfast burrito on their menu so I ordered other things on the side that I also wanted to add to the burrito. They followed my instructions to the T and they give good portions! I would definitely order again or even dine in if I was in the area! 10/10 would recommend!“
“Excellent food and service and atmosphere. This is our go to for a great night out with either the family, friends, or an amazing date night. Drinks are top notch and staff is wonderful and welcoming. Britni was our waitress and she was fantastic with our picky kids and so much fun. Can’t wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options.“
“The food at Little Gem Cafe is always so good. The service is great even though they are always super crowded. Stuffed pork chop with Brussel sprouts, so awesome! Fun little joint with usually some jazz playing in the background. Thumbs up!“
“West Town Bakery opened another location! They have branched out to the suburbs and created an awesome space with a connection to OKAY dispensary. This place is awesome. The bakery continues to impress and by the way has the most FABULOUS gluten free selections, I LOVE the cake balls! There is also a very cool inviting lounge attached to OKAY which I highly recommend visiting as well. Now I hear they are expanding and opening a new location in Evanston in early 2024, can't wait to see that. Nice job West Town, keep up the good work, I will see you soon!Dietary restrictions: BEST gluten free baked goods EVER!“
“Not gonna lie, I ended up here because my husband and I needed a quick snack, and I tried to go to Choo Choo down the street, but they were packed. When I walked in, there was a long line, and that seemed promising, plus it was moving quickly. We wanted something savory, so we ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a goat cheese and pesto croissant, and a spinach quiche. They warmed up the pastries and brought them out to our table pretty quickly. I was surprised the pastries were so good. The croissants were so flakey and delightful. The spinach quiche had a lovely crust. I completely forgot to take pictures because I was in a rush and starving, but I also saw a security sign that said no camera allowed. I wish they had more savory pastry options with meat, but the ham and cheese croissant was all they had when I visited. I did see that they had sandwiches that could be ordered, so I might try that if I am ever in the area again.“
