Delightful Pastries - A Delightful Experience & Delicious Cake This European-style bakery has helpful & great staff and great cakes, pastries, & a variety of breads. They created a cake that exceeded our inquiries with Whole Foods Market, Mariano's, & Jewel-Osco Grocery Store. This review has been long overdue considering I’ve been a patron of this establishment for a few years now. This place is amazing and just adorable. The staff are always gracious and friendly. The absolute star though is the food! I don’t think I’ve ever had anything taste mediocre here. It’s always tasty, delicious and fresh. You can taste the love and passion put into everything here. Love, love, love this bakery! Some of the best stuff here are the bars: lemon bar, pecan bar, and my desert island (dessert island :) pick, the "Congo bar". Roasted macadamia nuts on a bittersweet chocolate layer, all on top of a buttery graham cracker crust, with some coconuts thrown in -- oh, my! Glad I don't live nearer to this bakery or I would weigh 300 lbs. already.
