What a charming little room, bright and airy even on a gray day! We were so relieved to find ample seating right away after work. The pastries were delicious, and it was lovely just to sit and chat for a while. A wonderful escape from the weather.
Be sure not to overlook the orange door; at first glance, it might seem mysterious from the outside. But when you step inside, you'll discover it's a charming professional bake shop offering some of the finest breads and pastries you can find in Chicago.
Best European bakery and sweet pastries in town. I had a chocolate lava cake and an orange cake that were some of the best I’ve had in my life! Merci beaucoup!!

The pistachio chocolate and prosciutto arugula croissants are standouts, and the cheese filled croissant is a favorite. The croissants are absolutely phenomenal, flaky and light, and the pastries are also super delicious and every item is fresh the flavors are rich. This is the place for the variety of croissants you can’t find in other bakeries. The bakery also serves hot drinks like loose-leaf tea and really smooth coffee. With friendly, phenomenal service and a welcoming atmosphere, this bakery is a great option for the whole family. There are about 3–5 tables behind the counter, so no need to worry about finding a seat. The place can be hard to find and is hidden but that makes it much greater!
