The owner is super nice 🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻 and knowledgeable on his goods and his 🧁🧁 muffins, brownies 🟫🟫 and cakes are 🍰🤯🤯🤯 DIVINE. 🌹🌹🌹His mother happened to be there when we visited and she was so soooooo sweet 🤗. “How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. “I've been reading the reviews and everyone is ripping on the owner. I mean he's an eccentric guy but Jesus... I would imagine people are coming for the food, not his personality... and secondly, who cares, get thicker skin. He made some comment to me too when I stood up to get a menu after seating myself and sitting there for a few minutes, but I just said some smart ass comment back and we both laughed. No biggie, don't be so sensitive, just give it back to him. He's a nice guy just burned out from waiting on half of the North Shore... I would be burned out too.

They are the most delicious fresh fruit tarts and have become a special part of milestone celebrations. Every time we serve these they disappear and our guests rave about how good they were. Mark Salmon enthusiastically and creatively arranged for my friend and I to dine outside (our request), despite the rain. We stayed dry under umbrellas and thanks to Sandra, our amazing waitress, we celebrated my birthday with fine food (impressive menu choices and food presentation) and great company! It was my first time dining at 501 Local and this restaurant met and exceeded my high standards in every way! It is a hidden gem and our new fav restaurant. Highly recommend!!“

“I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“
