“How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. “Wow!! Max's Deli is amazing! The egg salad, chicken salad, corned beef and Monte Cristo sandwiches are freshly prepared and flavorful! The onion buns/rolls are made fresh as well and are a wonderful surprise to any sandwich if you decide to order your sandwich on an onion roll instead of bread. 👍
The in house made bagels and schmear are fantastic! The smiley face cookies and tiramisu are homemade and absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to return again to Max's Deli to try many more items from their extensive menu! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly!

“I went to dinner here with friends last night. I used to live in The Glen, and since I still live only about ten minutes away, I have been coming here regularly for more than ten years.
Everything was great, but the ribeye I ordered medium came out well-done. I sent it back, and the manager, Kaitlyn, came over, apologized, and had it remade. Unfortunately, the second steak was also not cooked to the correct temperature. I honestly felt bad and was willing to just eat it, even though it was not my fault, but Kaitlyn insisted on having it made again correctly.
I was truly impressed by the service. Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how a restaurant responds and makes an effort to take care of its guests. Kaitlyn handled the situation professionally and genuinely wanted to make sure I was satisfied.
A special thank-you to Kaitlyn and our server, Sara, for their outstanding service. I have been coming here for over ten years, but I do not think I have ever been this impressed by the level of care and hospitality. Truly excellent service.“

“We drove from Genoa City Wisconsin because we heard how delicious everything was. We were NOT disappointed. The meat on our sandwiches, one corned beef and one pastrami, was piled high! Homemade brined pickles and bakery items exceeded our expectations. Worth the drive and we will be back.“

Mark Salmon enthusiastically and creatively arranged for my friend and I to dine outside (our request), despite the rain. “I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“
