I ordered an open-faced, roast turkey dinner. The stuffing was AMAZING, the mashed potatoes and gravy like home-made, and the turkey was tender and delicious. The best hot turkey (and stuffing) I've had. The Pick-up wait on a Friday night was 45 minutes! There was a guy in a hat meeting pick-up customers almost yelling, 'the foods not up yet. ' We all looked at each other, but good was outstanding.
Everybody knows Max and Bennys. Its the BEST. Been going there for over 10 years. Parties, holiday dinners, lunches...never tire of the great food, service or atmosphere . Over the years my dietary habits have changed but the menue accommodates options. Great place.

I hadn't been there for a couple of months and really had a taste for a great pastrami sandwich. I was disappointed in my sandwich. It was dry and tasted just like any other deli meat you could get at a grocery store. I ordered the soup and half sandwich and only ate a few bites of the sandwich. The Kreplach soup was wonderful however and I loved that.
