“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“Kathia and Ryan were so kind! While Ryan prepped my morning crepe, he shared their story as a couple and later as business partners, starting off with selling crepes from their porch to neighbors. Not only was the crepe delicious (especially the homemade whipped cream), but they prepared it with such a generous attention to hospitality. I only wish I’d started coming by the farmer’s market sooner this year.“

“How crazy is this. Going to Sunset Foods I saw this sign in the window of a storefront to the West. Fortunately I found BRIGHT BOWLS owned and operated by a Highland Parker named Lindsay. I can’t describe the ambiance and wonderful products. You need to experience on your own. My favorite so far is the LoveABowl. Enjoy on site or to go. Get Bright Butter, Bright Granola and Bright Smiles. Tell the staff Larry sent you. Hmmmm“

“Mizrahi humus, where have you been all my life? I just had the lucky opportunity to try you for the first time. And now I can never eat any other hummus. This is beyond my favorite. Cannot recommend it enough!“

“We traveled quite a ways to eat here since it is considered by many to be a great old school Chicago restaurant. We went for lunch and it was very quiet inside when we arrived. My kid commented that all the songs that were playing were on her playlist so she was thrilled. She had the sweet and sour chicken and I had the Kung Pao beef. Both were really good and the portions were huge. The meals came with egg drop soup which was excellent and then we also had spring rolls which were very large and really good. Service was very good and the food was reasonably priced. I do wish they still had the old neon sign out front.“

“Delightful little juice bar that has wide variety of juices, bowls, and even soups, salads and sandwiches. everything is so tasty. The only warning is that some items are so tasty that you can’t stop thinking about it. We go to the one in Highland Park.“

“Well... We did go in the middle of the day and were there from 3 to 5 so I appreciate that. The restaurant was clean and service was good overall but not exceptional. The food was good but not as much of a flavor punch you normally expect with Thai.“

“Great service great pizza. The only thing that’s not nice is when your employee sit out in front of the building vaping and you have to smell it when you walk into the building absolutely disgusting!!! I’m sure there’s a back door to the facility instead of having Employee out front by the door vaping is disgusting!!“

“🛣️🚙 My girlfriend Gretchen 👩🏻🦰 and I 🧑🏻🚀 went in before they 🏪 closed and found this place to be magical 🪄🪄🪄🪄. The owner is super nice 🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻 and knowledgeable on his goods and his 🧁🧁 muffins, brownies 🟫🟫 and cakes are 🍰🤯🤯🤯 DIVINE. 🌹🌹🌹His mother happened to be there when we visited and she was so soooooo sweet 🤗. I would HIGHLY 🗣️📢 recommend this jewel in this charming building. 🥹🟨🟨🟨🟨🪟🪟🟨🟨🟨. Thank you Oscar and Blanca 🥹“
