The "black truffle" barrata is a ball of cheese on top of some stewed green vegetables. I detected no evidence of any truffles in the dish. No truffle aroma or flavor. Seafood pasta primavera was tasty with fresh seafood.“

“This place is the classic "Jewish style" deli gem. The brunch crowd are gossiping older folks, who sit forever and get a million refills on their pickles. Their pickles are AMAZING, they have bagels, latkes, eggs, sandwiches, spreads, the best chicken soup (made with love), and their desserts are delicious. They even support local businesses and authors by selling items in their store and having little change collection bins (tzedakah boxes). Even prices are reasonable, especially considering inflation. You won't be disappointed by eating here!

Vegetarian options: Eggs, sandwiches, soups, salads, pancakes, wraps, all the typical deli-style options.

Dietary restrictions: They were very good about helping a friend of mine who just had surgery, with a list of "not allowed foods" figure out what she could eat!

“Edzo’s is clearly one of the best burger joints in Evanston and their options are great. I will gladly walk by other burger stores to get a fresh, tasty and filling burger at Edzo’s, they’re also one of the few places that make an excellent patty melt with gooey cheese and carmelized onions. “Small, clean location with a small bar. Looks like it's set up for karaoke too. The gentleman who took my order was very polite. He also helped in the kitchen. The menu featured Korean and American food.I wanted wings but I had chicken twice the day before so I went with the Kicken Burger with bacon instead. It was $16 for a combo, which seems a little high but the time I spend in the area the more I learn it's about average.I got to watch them cook the burger patties on the flat top and then give them a nice char grill. It was huge, almost overpowered by all of the toppings. A big slice of grilled onion, a hunk of tomato, lettuce, bacon... I had to remove some of it to enjoy the burger.The burger itself was well seasoned and tasty with a grilled bun and good sauce. Yes, the sauce was kickin' it a little bit.It came with standard crinkle fries but they were crisp and there were lots of them. More than I could finish.“

“It's tough to find decent street tacos in Evanston, but Taco Burger definitely delivers. Their tacos are packed with flavor, and I was really impressed with the quality of the ingredients.
I also tried their signature taco burger, and it was surprisingly good! The flavors all worked really well together. Now I'm going to have a hard time choosing between the tacos and the burger on my next visit.

“If you get overstimulated, do NOT come here. Train sounds, kids cackling, and loud voice abound! That being said, we have been twice with my toddler for lunch and have had fun each time. Bring quarters to use the horse and bus rides while you wait for a seat. The staff have always been super nice and attentive, and the burgers and chicken sandwich are pleasantly delicious. I’m appalled they sell $7 servings of Kraft Mac and cheese, but shame on us for ordering it every time ? I’ve never had room for dessert, but most tables order a dessert at the end. “A nice little fast food joint off of Dempster and Gross Point Rd. They serve up lots of good and intetesting pizza, wraps, burgers and more. All of their food is Zabiha halal certified.

Keep in mind there are no tables to eat inside, this is a takeout/carryout only place.

I recommend Chicken 65 wrap, Malai Chicken wrap, and Meat Lovers pizza.“

“Sorry so late. My wife and I worked all day and we were wanting food we went to the mall and we wanted something new. So we had Korean food. Like I said it was first time and we were welcome in our waitress was very sweet helpful and went through the menu. As of course If we never been to a restaurant we always ask a server to pick out our food of the menu and that is what she did. And it was amazing. Great job Fernanda. I told her my seasoning of what I cook and she came with this chicken with garlic soy onion chicken with some noodles. One dish and one bowl of noodles feeds two people. I am definitely going to come back again“

The only opp which was small, is I am following keto, and asked the burger be served bunless, still wanted the lettuce, tomato, pickle onion typical toppings. The burger came plain, no toppings. It was still a good size and tasty however.“

“I grew up on Super dawg and had to visit on my Chicagoland visit. I was staying closer to the Wheeling location in the Northwest suburbs. They have a true Chicago dog, with neon green relish, sport peppers and poopy seed bun. It was a treat to also find a pickled green tomato.

On the downside, hot dogs seemed smaller and definitely less crinkle fries, in. A smaller box. Perhaps next time I will order just the hot dog and a side of fries as a better value and more fries. They have more food options available for those that aren't into hot dogs. A nostalgic place to visit.

I know this place is a little new but with little improvements it will flourish better. Worth a try !! Because the service was actually good and fast.“

“elephant + vine has some of the best plant based food i have ever tried. the texture and taste of their plant based meats feel incredibly similar to the real thing and i found myself coming back multiple times. the staff members are such delightful people (and i totally recommend leaving them a nice message in the “special requests” section if

The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt.
